How does one go about getting blood work done? Can you go to a private clinic and just pay to have it done?

Does anyone know a place in the Vancouver area that will do this? Thanks..

Just goto a clinic,, tell them you have taken steroids,, and you will get areferal to a blood clinic. No problem at all. And dont worry about telling them you juice. They dont give one shit.

i go to the clinic and request forms for bloodwork...they ask why and sometimes i tell the truth....other times i just say for my own reference.....i pay cash as i dont have health coverage so they really dont bother me with many questions

its that easy to go into to a walk in clinic and request bloodwork. i suggest going in knowing what you want testing i.e. kidney, liver values. there are recommendations on a few of these boards as what to test. if you have a valid medical reason to test, then they should not refuse you. of course its covered under our canadian healh care. i even got the cholesterol test done free because i disclosed my usage. [I made sure this was 'off the record' before i talked about it]
If a doctor wont help you, I would remind them it is within their mandate. If not, I would threaten to report them to the canadian medical bureau. Of course you can walk out, and just try another clinic as well. The squeaky wheel gets the grease
I doubt you will have a problem tho.

Go to your doctor or a clinic, tell them why and for what you want to get tested for, they will write up a requistion you would take into one of the bc bio or lifelabs closest to you, the labs will be listed on the back of the requistion form the doc gives you.

Go to your doctor and tell him/her you have no sex drive, feeling sluggish/lethargic and not sleeping properly. You'll get a referal for a blood test to get things checked out. If you don't just ask for it for your piece of mind and to make sure everything is OK. You don't have to mention any AAS use.

that's what i've done, i go to my yearly checkup when i'm clean for a while and tell him to run the full blood test - i'm too paranoid about mentioning anything related to AAS - once they write it down on paper, I'm scared of it popping up sometime down the road - if he's checking all the stuff I want anyway (ex kidney function etc....) what does it matter if he knows? For my piece of mind I would rather not say.....
