Looking for a New GYM in Calgary

I need to find a new gym as the one I am going to is too busy and I hate the waiting to use one of the 3 benches or 1 of the 4 x-trainers.

I might be moving this summer so the stipulation is that I need a good gym that does not require a 1 year membership. I live in the SW near crowchild, 17th AVE etc.

Any suggestions?

My buddy Rik owns Probodies in Marda Loop. That's pretty close to you and it a good gym. I don't know if he does lees than 1 year memberships though...

ironworks is a great gym, and great atmosphere, i wish i lived closer....
cant beat the comradery in there...Bench board to mark your bench and compete against yourself, and others...:) shake bar etc...you can grunt, use chalk, slap yourself in the face...whateva..

and i never really train till 8 or 9 so traffic isnt really an issue

AlladdinSane's place for the win man. I work out there and I have a ways to go before I make it on the board lol(but it's one of my goals). Those numbers are there to encourage people because as AlladdinSane said, strength just kinda happens when you go to his gym, everyone there is pretty chill. I have a free membership at the U of C and I still go to Sane's.

Your gym looks great!! kinda wish i still lived there so i could try it out!. i used to go to the Gold's in Marda loop back in 93 it was decent, but i had nothing else to compare it to except for the shitty base gym.
