the biggest flaw i see when people do cardio is lean over console with about half of their body weight. especilly on stair climber. you see them go 100mph but hardly no body weight on their feet. those handles are for balance only , no to hang on for dear life. if you have normal abilty you dont nrrd them at all. keep your hands at your sides , see how much more effective it is. this is the same on treadmill whats the point in walking up hill if your pulling yourself up with your arms. im sure nobody on this board does this tho.

I feel you! both hands on the handle with their elbow lock to support their weight!I do my stair with both hands behind my back holding each other and keep my body straight not lean forward.

I love the treadmill one. Get that sucker up to a ten degree incline but grab onto the console and lean back 10 degrees, so now your walking on a flat surface again. I don't get it.

Guys, don't knock down cardio, even the IFBB pros do it a few times a week to get the old heart going strong. 10 mins x 3 times a week is plenty to get a great sweat going but not enough to start catabolism. Don't believe me, I was 275 lbs around 2 years ago and now weigh 244 lbs. Remember that I'm only 5'11" too.
