I am cutting for the summer and I thought that I would share how it goes.

I started off at 278 lbs on February 1 and did a ketosis diet until March 10 (5 weeks). I dropped down to 260 and during the 5th week my weight stayed the same.

I started a cycle today (March 17), and I will be doing the following.

* Weeks 1-12 Test-E 500mg/week split in two doses/week ( I am not a fan of Test Prop)

* Weeks 1-5 T-bol 40mg/day might increase this to 50mg
*Weeks 1-4 T3 at 50mcg/day with 2-3 Lipo-EX's/day May increase T3 up to 75-100mcg, depending on how I react to it.
*Weeks 6-11 Var @80mg/day
*Week 12, start coming off Test-E
*PCT for next 4 weeks.

Diet is very clean, lots of leafy greens and raw veggies, 6 meals a day, high protein and reduced starchy carbs. I won't go back into Ketosis while on T3, as the body will deactivate active T3.

Training: weights 4 days a week, cardio 45-60 minutes 6 days a week, with heart rate around 120-125.

I took T3 for the first time this morning @ 50mcg. My energy is extremely high and it feels like how I felt back in my teens. General sense of well-being. I will stay at 50mcg for now, as I am not sure what to do with all this energy other than train!

I am also taking nicotine to help with hunger and to help encourage Leptin levels.

I will keep everyone posted in how this goes.

Peace.

Good laid out cycle. Happy Growing and keep us posted. Have you used Var before ? If not, I think you could get away with 60mg ED..

I haven't used var in about 4 years and this is my first cycle in 2 years. I stopped juicing about 2 years ago, stopped the cardio, but still lifted on and off. I put on a lot of fat in that 2 year period, about 50-55lbs. I got married 2 years ago, I teach full-time, and run a photography business, so I choose marriage and money over my true love, which is bodybuilding. I looked at pictures of myself at Christmas and realized how delusional I was when I looked at myself in the mirror. I didn't realize that I got that fat until I saw the photos... I still have a good base layer of muscle as my LBM is around 195lbs and I have been off gear for 2 years. So at around 220, I should be about 10% bf. So I have another 40lbs to shed, goal is to get down to 220-225 in 3-4 months. But being on Test-E, Tbol, & Var will change the end results. Goal is to preserve my muscle while dieting and using T3.

Current Stats: 260lbs, 25%BF, 65lbs of fat, 195 LBM
Goal: 220, 10%BF, 195 LBM

Feeling very lethargic today, head and face are hot. Bit of a headache.
The lethargic feeling could be the effects of me lowering the carbs in my diet. This usually lasts for 4-5 days, and then I start feeling great. So I am guessing that the crappy feelings are from the carbs, however I am taking a lot of stuff right now, so there are many variables. I will let you know how i feel in 4-5 days, and if my carb theory is correct.

From what I've dug up around the net, T3 can increase blood glucose levels and thus there is a possibility of falling out of ketosis. Ketosis, however, is known to drop thyroid levels thus administering T3 is beneficial during a ketosis diet.

Whether or not the diet/T3 cancels each other out I dunno. I'm currently doing a cutting cycle running T3, Alb and AAS. I'm on a ketogenic diet so we'll see where I'm at in a few.

just wondering because I'm at 80mcg/day and when I switched to ketosis type diet the pounds have been dropping big time! So I was wondering if it was theory, dangerous or what?

Wouldn't be dangerous. If anything the T3 is preferable.

I looked evrywhere for the study and I can't find it, but I did find a new study that may be of interests. It is about T3 use in starvation diets and it was published in March 2009. Enjoy.

Just some advice... to monitor your ketosis - get yourself a hold of ketosis sticks from any canadian general pharmaceutical stores.

I paid around 11$ including taxes and S&H

It helps me monitor if I am eating too much carbs or if I need to increase my protein and fat intake.

Good Luck

Well I upped the t3 to 125mcg. It heats me up a bit on a empty stomach. It doesn't really kick in until I eat a good meal. I am hoping that the stuff I bought is properly dosed, the other scenario is that my tsh levels where too high to begin with. I was tested at 2.65 before taking t3. I may up the does to 150-175mcg in the next couple of days.
