My GF ordered me the George St Pierre RUSH (Black), looking forward to receiving it.

I've read soooooo many people bashing this line over and over again...

Aside from Wing Chung & Wushu when I was younger, that's about as far as my training goes. (I'm not a MMA practitioner and I don't try to come across as one) I am from Montreal and am a big fan of GSP.

Am I going to need to deal with a bunch of punks who assume that because I wear a Affliction Tshirt that I am somewhat announcing that I can kick everyones ass?

Tell me it ain't so.... At least not in Canada.

I understand that in the US, this brand is common amonst wanna be's and posers alike. (Gang members..etc..etc..)

Anyone shed some light?

Thx!

I have been wearing Affliction shirts for 2 years now. I like the style. I am in no way a wanna be. I just like doing my own thing. I wear them cause I like them. No I don't feel stronger by wearing them or have that ego by wearing them that I can kick anyone's ass. I don't practive MMA, but I like watching it. I am also fa an of GSP!

Basically, I wear it cause I like it.

This is it, the reason why most make fun of i guess, is lots will wear, and all of sudden they are practitioners. You'll get the over weight guy the will wear the hat right down to shoes but no nothing, not that your supposed to as if you like the sport the support it.. but some just hate those type of people that were to think they are someone else

me n my friend have this deal where the first person to see someone wearing a tapout shirt, yells "tapout", then punches the other dude in the arm...

i think that tapout brand has gotten out of hand, they got shoes n everything, kids wearing them in grade school n shit.

Affliction's cool tho yet its expensive

i think the main rule is that you dont go around giving people the stink eye while wearing any of these MMA shirts cus then its real douchy. :)

So true. I usually buy them on Boxing day. They give you 10% off on the website.

I think that applies no matter what shirt your wearing...

Exactly. And I think it doesn't help if you wear it in conjunction with other types of clothing. For example, some dude wearing an affliction shirt, combined with the flat brimmed sideways cap, severely baggy jeans with the faggoty lat-walk.....methinks these are the guys giving the affliction/tapout brands a bad name.

I also personally like the style.

Affliction along with most other name brand clothing are banned in calgary, edmonton, vancouver etc as they are looked at as gang related wear. Pretty ****in stupid!

haha well there not necessarily banned, you can wear whatever you want in calgary, vancouver. Its just that the majority of clubs/bars won't let you in if you are wearing affliction or christian audigier shirts. Too many faggy gangsters rep it.

That crap is deffinatly not banned in e-town, see plenty of people wearing that shit out on the weekend. Affliction actually makes some nice shirts, just need to look into their higher end stuff since all the cheaper shirts tend to look alike.

They made an Ozzy Ozboure series with a few nice shirts, I think they are from their 'signature series'.

It makes you an Instant Black Belt. You fit the Affliction profile though.Little training and what training you have is in a ridiculous scam art like "Gung Fo". After you put the shirt on you become a certified bad ass.

Sorry that's what i meant, most clubs won't let you in with the clothing on, didn't mean you can't wear on the street. Reason clubs do this is the police tell them that if they don't outlaw these or make a effort to stop the people in the clubs wearing the brands, that they will not respond or help the clubs out security wise when they have problems.

this reminds me of people wearing Raiders caps and jackets in the early to mid 90's and getting harassed because of it.

I had a raiders hat and some fool tried to mess with me because he thought I was affiliated with something which I was - my football team lol

I think the shirts are cool to wear to a fight or if you are a fighter. But, I think it is ****ing gay to see punk ass skinny bitches thinking they are tough because they wear affliction, xtreme couture, ect.

What do you guys think when you see a fat ass in a Golds Gym tee? Same diff.

No fear was HUGE! everyone had that shit on years ago. Funny thing is No fear has jumped on the MMA style bandwagon, it is cheaper than affliction.

wear what you wanna wear, if people judge you for it, then who's the one being a cockface? If people judge you on what you wear theres something wrong with their head. I like some of the designs on the TapouT and Affliction shirts, if anyone feels I shouldnt wear them they can just kiss my glutes. =)

the problem isnt the one or two people like that like the brand,

it's the three hundred thousand other people who wear it because everyone else they think is cool does, the new von dutch/ whatever brand is hit at the moment,

and to the guy who posted on me , yeah they dont try and whore out their lines just nice clean stuff , new designs for the seasons, not disgusting trent stuff

i've also found that the Hanes "perfect T" is ****ing awesome,

i buy tons of em now

whip out your gold sprapaint and a doiley and make it look like an affliction t

at 6'3, 300lbs, 22" arms and and a 56" suit jacket I will wear whatever the **** I want. And if you have a problem with it because there are also 300,000 other people wearing it too then come see me and we can chat about it.

Who gives a ****? As Timbo and others have said, wear what you want to wear and who gives a shit?
