View Full Version : online whey isolate sources
I've always gotten my whey locally and never thought about getting it online. Figure I'd look into what kind of savings I could get. In the last two visits alone the price has risen for my whey :( Where do you guys go for your whey? If you could list the online source, brand, weight/price I'd really appreciate. And if you got it from one of the sponsors, list who and how much etc.
I personally have always get
ON Gold Standard Whey / 5lbs / 80 servings / 25g protein / $70

I have used both Fitness Etc. and Pump House and both have excellent service. Both are sponsors here. I find TrueProtein very expensive, especially now that the dollar is so low.

For isolate true protien works out better than retail by a fair bit.
I have noticed that while "whey concntrates" go on sale. Whey Isolate is pretty much a commodity price. Getting the price down is mostly about volume and packaging.
I went with 16 pounds of whey isolate from true protien.

Man I'm looking at their prices and even with the conversion they're still better than anything I've seen.
PS - Where did you find their isolate? All i see is blends and concentrate. Kinda leaning towards the blend, atleast has SOME aminos.
This will be the first time I'll try something unsweetened/unflavored, i figure as long as it doesnt taste like choda sweat, im golden.
25lbs for $164 CAN, how can you go wrong?

on the menu under products -> proteins and supplements -> proteins
With shipping/exchange etc... I think I save about 3$ per pound over the retail.
I would be happy to do even better but so far it's the best price on isolate i have found.
I'm pretty sure that in canada there is really only 1 supplier and that the prices are essentially fixed but that's just my sense of things.

Yup. I agree.
Go with a board sponser. Fitness Etc is the best when it comes to pricing and service. Used many times.

There seems to be some serious confusion between isolate and concentrate here.
