Weird...bit O/T but when I do my quad injections, I inject in the area I labelled in green:

You do know the area you circled in green is the inside of the quad, right?

Ok, its Friday and I am at the office and my brain is just fried. But what am I missing ? That doesn't look at like an infection to me at all. Looks like some swelling and redness which can be cause by the BA acting as an irrantant. Plus Quad shots can produce "stingers"..

Either way, glad your ok bro. Speedy recovery

it's still an issue of timing.. if it were just an bad shot, the pain/swelling/redness would be going down in around the same time frame.

it would just suck if you had to pump yourself full of antibiotics for nothing...

rule of thumb for me is wait 5 days, if it gets worse head straight to emergency. if it gets better, just a bad shot.

again, not saying it wasn't infection, but i've seen a lot of these kinds of posts where dudes shoot their legs and it swells up like crazy, hurts, is beet red, etc and some head to the docs and get antibiotics, while others wait a few days and the pain and swelling starts to subside...

103 fever though, that's the kicker... that's pretty high.

sorry if it sounds like im being an ass, it's not my intention.. ive just never heard of an infection happening so quickly.

that looks pretty low on the quads for a shot for me.

That's good it's gotten better. Now I'm slightly concerned as I've been mainly a quad shot guy myself. Thinking about hitting the delts now as well.

Nice to hear you're alright man.

Personally, I think you're very lucky they didn't slice your leg open like we've all seen here and there. That would have sidelined you for a long time.

That's good it's gotten better. Now I'm slightly concerned as I've been mainly a quad shot guy myself. Thinking about hitting the delts now as well.

I used quad shots on all previous cycles, but just started delts monday(left delt) and thursday(right delt) for the first time ever. The injections were painless and easy to reach, a little tender for a couple days after but nothing serious, assuming its because their virgin muscles. Only used 1cc per delt.

I wonder why they gave you an iv. A few months ago I had a severe

infection that went from my shoulder down to my hand. My whole arm was

swollen and distorted to the point where all my veins disappeared. All I got

were some antibiotics. Maybe up here in Northwestern Ontario the docs

are old school.

they tried 2 diff dosages of orals and it didnt respond to them and perhaps cause the circulation in arm is way better than in the leg most of the time.

Never had an infection, but I did have some prop once that hurt so viciously it disabled whatever muscle I put in, except the glutes

The funnest times were when I thought it was okay to put in the teardrop.

I was limping for 3 days like I had a broken leg...
