I would like to have this done someday as well. They say that night driving is still not as good tho.

Glad it went well.

Actually I know someone who's had laser eye surgery. I'm not sure if it was PRK or no, however, he said his night time driving had improved as well. He no longer saw that halo from oncoming lights.

How long was your recovery? I guess I should read more clearly. You only had it yesterday. For PRK is that wear the make you wear some kind of contact bandages? If so how long do they have to remain in?

yeah you have to wear contact lenses and have to use a antibiotic and steriod eye drop 4 times a day. the amount of time you have to have the contacts in is dependant on the person and the amount of time they heal. but they say the average is about 3 to 4 days and you also go see the eye doctor everyday to ensure everything is healing properly then once he comfirms everything is healed he takes out the contacts

How much did it cost you? I've been to a couple of places and it seems to be about 5k all in here.

I had my eyes done about 5 years ago. One of my best decisions ever. My night vision has improved. I did have a problem with the drops they gave me. Supposedly there is a 1 in 1000 chance to having a reaction to them and I did. The healing process took longer than it should have. If you are having ANY irritation from the drops let the doc know.

I had mine done 9 years ago at Lasik Vision Canada (now Lasik MD) and here's my experience:

- Vision is about the same now as it was when I wore contacts (which was never perfect)
- my night vision got better, but I now need my glasses to drive at night)
- I can watch TV without glasses, but it is definately sharper if I wear them.

I am an avid skydiver and Downhill mountain biker and the freedom of not having to wear glasses was worth every penny ($1600 for both eyes was the price at the time) My vision was so bad, I couldn't see the the alarm clock right beside me without my glasses. While my vision is not perfect right now, it was still the best money I ever spent.

How much did you pay?

I heard they do it in mexico for 50 bucks.

Sounds sketchy, do they give you a free sombrero after?

Did you get it done while "on-cycle"?

I wonder if AAS might interfere with the procedure in any way?

Absolutely not! I was down in mexico and checked it out, there is this guy named Horacio Javier Pasquez Flores (full name) in guanajuato, Mexico and for 50 bucks he will pee in your eyes. I didnt do it though I chickened out, I mean comon its MEXICO!

But actually I was in an optometrist clinic on a unrelated issue and asked about it. Lazer surgery costs the same on average, if I rememebr right it was over 3000 dollars but less than 5000.

I have a friend who did it and so far so good. Got it done last november. He was taking 600mg test and 600mg of deca could be more though. There is a period when you can`t train after just in case you want to plan that accordingly.
