I really hate to add another hcg question but here goes. My friend has a bottle of something he calls gonadotropin. He keeps telling me it`s pure LH. I tell him it must be hcg. And he tells me no, hcg is used to treat women with fertility problems, but does agree men can use it to get the testes in working order. Basically he tells me the gonadotropin is specifically for males and is better than hcg. I don`t know what the hell he is talking about. All the searches I did on gonadotropin have the word hcg in parathesis. Can you guys settle this please?

hcg is short for Human Chorionic Gonadotropin

Settles that.
But if someone could bottle luteinizing hormone, I'd try it.

Usually when someones referring to "Gonadotropins" they are referring to LH or FSH, which are under the control of gonadotropin releasing hormone (GnRH). but like mentioned above there are others (HCG, HMG, more?)
i've never heard of anyone taking LH or FSH though?!

Well as usual I have no idea what the hell my friend is talking about. Said he bought in a pharmacy here in Montreal (the guy is connected) and keeps telling me it`s not hcg. I asked him to send me a pic of it so I can post it and get your guys opinion. "It`s LH" he keeps saying. For sure it`s not HMG, as it`s derived from the female pregnant urine like hcg. He keeps saying this product is not from female pregnant urine. What the hell is he talking aobut.

I don`t know anymore. I think if there was a product like it, it would be in the profiles. Dosen`t make sense to think he`s the only one who ever heard of it... Must be hcg. Case closed.
