CALGARY — A Calgary homeowner and his teenage son got into a fight early Wednesday with two men who threw a couple of Molotov cocktails into his house.
Police said the tussle ended up in the alley, where one of the suspects drove away, while the other fled on foot.
He was tracked down several blocks away and sent to hospital with head wounds.
Three people inside the house were also taken to hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation and cuts and bruises.
The firebombs were thrown through a patio door and sparked a blaze that was quickly contained.
There was no motive immediately evident for the attack, although police said it didn’t appear to be random.
