"Fat cells produce the powerful hormone leptin, a primary force instructing metabolism, weight loss, and hormone balance. Leptin communicates directly to your brain, telling the brain how much fat is in storage. It controls appetite, energy, and metabolic rate. Leptin problems are the primary reason for food cravings, overeating, faulty metabolism, the obsession with food, and heart disease."

so where would you get injectable leptin? prescription? UG?

Never heard of it

Dude do your research. Leptin as a drug has been a complete bust. Cheat meals and nicotine help keep leptin levels up during dieting.

DUDE! Ever do the nicotine gum? I do when the dieting gets tough. Thing is.... the new "smokeless" cigs seem to be a vaporized nicotine delivery system. But I'm complicating things.

Remember that high fructose corn syrup has no effect on leptin.

Yes nicotine does increase leptin. Here is my experience with using it... Since I have never been a smoker, I decided to try using a nicotine patch to increase leptin. For one of my jobs, I teach at a High School and I thought that putting a nicotine patch on in the morning would be a great idea, as I have been dieting for the last month and I am hitting a plateau. I took the step 1 nicotine patch and cut it in half. I thought that by buying the step 1's which are around 21mg, that I could cut them in half and get 14 days worth out of the box. I figured that 11mg delivered over 24 hours would be a bit harsh, but nothing that I could not handle. So, I put half the patch on at 8:30AM, the students come in, and by 9:15, my head is swimming, I could barely walk as I was loosing balance. I then chugged back almost a litre of water and sat down. This is when my face started heating up and I thought wow this is great, I can also use this a thermogenic. By 9:45AM, I ripped the patch off and then I started vomiting into a garbage can infront of my class. I spent the next 1.5 hours laying in my car as another teacher covered my class.

I can't believe how powerful nicotine is in a non-smoker. According to the patch it delivers a constant rate over a 24 hour period of a total of 21mg. That is 0.46mg every hour. Since I had it on for about 1 hour, I only took in about 0.5mg. I am going to wait a few days, and cut the patch up into 10 strips... hopefully this time it won't be a nicotine od. I am also not sure if it could have chemically stacked with Lipo-Ex from *****, as I took 2 pills of lipo-Ex at about 7AM.

Any other non-smokers try dosing the nicotine patch? If so what worked for you.

I also read that the patch will give wicked lucid dreams which are supposed to be unbelievably cool.

Peace.

I did the patch like you did but I don't get much effects from a lot of drugs. I did a quarter of the 21mg patch (I was thinking along the same line as you). Can't say I got a whole lot. I also don't do stims. Experimented with yohimbine, the ECA stack (both herbal and chemical), tyramine (talk about headaches), DNP, you name it. Nothing works like test ent. and T3 with clean eating and good training.

I do use the nicotine gum and it's good provided you start slow and figure your tolerances. I've also never smoked (ok once, on the 3rd straight night of xtc...uggg).

Thing is the gum is a WHOLE lot different than cigs. The gum is a slower release while cigs are an instant whack to the brain. I would be curious to try the smokeless cigs that vaporize nicotine. Wonder how that would be?

No lucid dreaming but I heard any dose of melatonin over 3mg is going to be wild...

Quite the story ... You shuld know that by cutting the patch you may have damaged the 'time-relasing' properties and may have got, especially by the sounds of it, an extra potent dose of nicotine. Half a mg of nicotine wouldn't do that to a small non-smoking woman let alone a large muscular male in shape.

I agree that Test-E works really well for me cutting with a bit of adex for bloat. I haven't tried T3 (Cytomel) as I often wonder if it could burn my thyroid out. I know all about dosing it and have read about the risks. Have you noticed anything with your body that indicates thyroid damage after using it? Once your off it, does your body put weight back on really fast? I know everyone is different and will recover in different ways, but I enjoy finding out how it reacts with others.

I cut the nicotine patches up into smaller sections, and it has been fine. I put a small section on last night and I could not believe the dreams! It seemed like I was awake all but asleep. It almost seemed like I was fully conscious last night, quite bizarre. I felt very rested this morning despite the dreams.

I also read the package of the step 1 patches more closely and I found out that the patch contains a bit over 120mg of nicotine, and it states that the body will take in 21mg over 24 hours. So perhaps cutting it did something to the release mechanism. However, having said that, step 1 is still meant for people who smoke 20 or more cigarettes a day. I have never been a smoker so I have no nicotine in my body. For a non-smoker, I would never advise someone to try step 1's cut in half. Perhaps, step 3's would be more suitable, after all I am just looking for something to kick leptin production up a notch for the plateau time.

Why at night? I use it to decrease hunger so night is a waste. As for T3, thyroid burnout is a theory that has yet to be proved. Someone on a board was going to give $ if anyone had proof of thyroid shutdown (studies), and still had his $. If you pyramid up to 100mcg and then down over a few weeks (I would not do more than 12) you won't have a problem. I have never had a problem with t3 "rebound" weight gain. I used some last year before I went down to Mexico to an all-inclusive. I did gain weight... but then I ate 3x (some days 4-5x, oops) my normal cal's and drank too much, lol and for 2 weeks to boot! fun times

I wanted to experience the lucid dreams that everyone has been talking about so, I just tried it at night just for that reason. I agree during the day is better to curb appetite.

Have you tried T3 on a ketogenic diet? I read somewhere that your body will deactivate the T3 as a auto-protection when in ketosis. I am not sure if it is true, and I am in Ketosis at the moment.

Thanks.

I verified that cutting nicotine patches will destroy the release mechanism, so Step 1's have 120mg and your body will absorb 21mg in a 24 hour period. I cut it in half so according to the instructions, there is no way to determine how much of the 60mg half would release. It came rushing in my case. For any non-smokers who want to curb appetite and release more leptin for weight loss, use the step 3's.

I don't do ketogenic diets. I get stupid, tired and feel like shit. I diet by eating less and working out hard and fast.
