Safe-mail.net??

Noticed quite a few ppl have this.... I tried to set up an acct., but apparently you can't set up a new (free) acct. right now (due to some abuse via spamming or some crap), unless you get someone else (who has an acct.) apply for your username or something... I didn't really get it... never seen this problem with hotmail, gmail, etc. before.... Has it been like this for a while? Is there a way around this?

Not happy with safe mail once they were asking for verification numbers, i just dont' think thats right and if you want to be safe, dont give numbers OR send emails from your place, as it's soooooo easy for LE to find you fast. i know this is just a descusion, but email providers KEEP your email MINIMUM of one MONTH (even if you delete) dont anyone think it's REALLY gone. they DO save your info for bit and IF your being watched they will just site back and let you burry yourself.

You know I have had two safemail accounts for years now and have maybe gotton half a dozen spam email there ever. I think it has to do with where you have emailed. Mine are strictly person to person that may make a difference. my hotmail accounts on the other hand OMG!

Nah, I've only emailed people with it too. I think my name is too common and is probably on their mail list. Its no a big deal for me, but for them it's a huge load on their server

Anybody using safe-mail now a days...well might as well use yahoo or something, right? :D :D
The software has been deemed useless and a true risk since several months now.

I guess if you have private information to discuss you would use other channels, other than that I don't know what else to tell you.
I used safe-mail a few times to order protein from the fellas on the site, but aside than that never for anything else.

In some ways yahoo et al is more anonymous (no ip tracking) but less secure - clear text. Safe-Mail to Safe-Mail is (advertised to be) internally encrypted and secure to the sender and receiver.

If the israeli's were requested by interpol to take action against an account they very well might and like anything web hosted man in the middle attacks are possible.

pgp and a less traceable email account are far more secure but for my needs safe-mail is mostly good enough.

For the first year or so I never got any spam - now, every time I open up my safe-mail account I have to empty my junk folder of like. 10-20 spams, hopefully they will solve the problem soon.....

From my home, safe-mail does nt work since at least 6 month... But if i connect via a proxy (www.proxy.org) all work #1. Very strange...

I got the same message. It can be bypassed...but I'm not sure what the problem is..MP your the computer guy. What does this error mean?
