View Full Version : Normal for a first cycle?

Hey guys, newbie here. Just a quick question, into week 7 of my cycle and havent gained any weight. My cycle so far is as follows:
Week 1-6 40mg SA Dbol. 1 in the am, 1 hour before working out
Week 1-15 250 mg SA Test-E 2X a week making 500mg a week

I havent put on any weight at all, but my muscles are bigger, i am overall alot bigger but my body fat has just been dropping. I was expecting some water weight, and to gain some weight on this cycle, not a big deal as everyone wants to get more ripped but this was suppose to be my bulking cycle. Any ideas why?? My diet on cycle has been a little cleaner then before, cut way back on the junk foor, and eating more protien but still was hoping to gain some weight. Strength has gone up little, Superdrol gave me way more strength and weight gains.

I am not complaining, just curious as to what the vetern AAS users suggest, so i can plan around this for my next cycle.

you say this is your 1st cycle...but you have done superdrol ? you know that is a steroid right?..i agree with Redz..check out the old diet.....something not right

40mg dbol a day and you havent gained even a bit of water?! are you at least gettin good pumps?? the dbol should give you a good boost in strength esp with 500mg test on top....give us a sample of what you eat in a day.....

Wierd. Are you doing lots of cardio?

If you're feeling stronger, fuller and bigger maybe you've just added a bit of muscle and lost a lot of fat and the 2 are cancelling each other out when you get on the scale.

First cycles can do amazing things sometimes.

How old are you?

It takes awhile for me to see my weight go up , but my body changes alot . I get leaner but harder. I dont get enough cals in though.

Ok sorry for the late reply, doing some work around the house

I just turned 25, feb 15
6"2 225lbs

Typical diet

wakeup 6am Oatmeal, apple or bananna,2 scoops ON Protein shake in water,ECA, Multi, B12 and weeks 1-6 20mg d-bol

About 2 hours later or so: A chicken Wrap, made with a whole chicken breast, romaine lettuce, red pepper, fat free mayo, and some salsa with either another protein shake, or milk sometimes


About 2-3 hours later depending on work, another wrap and usually some veggies plain, and some fruit and usually an individual yougurt. and some water

Lunch, It varies depending but usually left overs from supper, but usually just a plain chicken breast or 2, and some brown rice, more veggies and/or fruit.

Coffee, about 2 hours later, usually a coffee,black or one cream/one sugar at the most. usually will take another dose of E/C/A and usually a scone from the coffee shop or a bran muffin. sometimes if i was prepared another protien shake.

on the way home i would take my other 20mg d-bol, with some water. Then when i am at home getting ready for the gym, i will have another shake with 2 pieces of plain white bread.

PWO: 2 scoops of ON, one scoop of powdered gatorade, or sometimes waxy maize

supper about a hour later: Steak and potatoe, or yam, some raw veggies,
and a fresh salad with just a vinagerette.

Night time snacks vary depending on how the day went, but usually i keep it clean. Yogurt with fruit, or veggies, Plain Peanuts/prunes home made trail mix

Before bed: Fat free cottage cheese/with pineaplle, or sometimes a Casein protein shake with blueberries thrown in the blender.

I know i should probally be consuming more carbs, but i am leaving for vegas soon so i guess i was trying to keep my diet as clean as possible.

Diet is not bad at all. I am very surprised you are not gaining weight on that. I am in my fifth week of Test E and EQ and am already up 15 lbs. SA is good so I don't see a problem with the gear. You got me.

Honestly... you call that a bulking diet? At 6'2 225 you should probably eat about double that if you want to actually increase in weight.

Your diet is hugely lacking in fats/whole proteins which are the best sources of calories for anyone who is bulking I don't understand the logic behind this.

Also you are taking ECA.... while bulking; doesn't that seem counter intuitive to you?

I say add 3-4 servings of whole protein (meat!) and 4L of whole milk to your daily diet and you should start seeing gains. You should also spend some time figuring out your maintenance calories for your body weight before you start bulking.

4L of whole milk are you kidding me?? maybe if i want to put on 15 lbs of fat in a cycle, i am trying to keep this as a clean bulk. If i wanted to i could just eat everything in sight but 100% sure most of it would be fat, and I am usually eating a steak or 2 a day, as well as a box of frozen chicken breasts every week and a half i would say that is enough whole protein. I am seeing myself harden up and gain size, but my pants just seem to be getting bigger and bigger. just was looking for some insight as to what people thought.

oh and for fats, i take 9 omega 3 capsules as day, as well as quite a bit of peanuts.

The diet's not THAT bad and he should still have gained weight.

Here's what I'd recommend. Just change the wraps to real sandwiches, have 2 at a time instead of one. And have a real meal after dinner, not yogurt and shakes.

Did you buy your SA gear from a reputable source? or did you get from a friend, of a friend, who knows a guy, that has a friend who got it for you? You know what I mean?
Kind of passed a few hands before it got into yours possibly?

Eat more food. Don't be overly concerned about gaining a LITTLE fat as that can be dropped latter.
I am also the same height, and I would be dropping mad weight if I ate like that. Also I would'nt use the eca if trying to gain weight. Just my 5 cents.
Sounds like your on a good cutting cycle/diet.

Blend Oats into all of your shakes that will help up your cals/carbs which your diet seems to be lacking, im smaller than you and eat a lot more than you...without gainng much fat

Why is it that every time we get threads like this, the diet when posted is always off.

That diet could either be horrible or mediocre depending on your descriptions.

ex. What's 'a chicken breast or 2'? You should know the calories in it. And it shouldn't be 1 or 2 breasts.

Post your diet with actual calories.

A few more anomalies:

1) You're bulking yet using ECA
2) You want to keep it clean yet you eat a scone or a bran muffin EVERY DAY.
