Hi CBB Crew,

This is my first time here so I am introducing myself.

Handle: IronManMuscle

Stats: 200 lbs (~90kg)

Height: 6’ (~180cm)

Age: breaking 30 (I can’t believe it)

Background: formal elite athlete on an international level. I really can’t go into too much detail about that without giving away clues as to my identity. In terms of gear, I have tried almost everything under the sun only for the exception of a few things. I have my favorites that I stick to.

My first question for you:

1) Do you get tired of doing the same cycles over and over again? Or is it just the nature of the beast.

2) I find that most roids have a dose of affectivity (i.e. the rule of diminishing returns). For example, 30mg Dbol/ day vs. 50mg Dbol day vs. 100mg Dbol/ day…. any difference in 6 six weeks? And some roids have it more than others, lets take Tren my favorite, seems to be the best example. I can’t do more without feeling sick.

What are your thoughts and experiences?

Hi and welcome to cbb.

1) My cycles usually consist of test and tren. I throw in 1-2 different compounds every cycle I do.

2) As for diminishing returns, yes it is true. More is not better. I did some large cycles and found the returns about the same as medium sized doses. BUUUUUTTTTTT...length of cycles is interesting. I get good gains way past the 6-10 week mark. To be honest, I get my best gains between weeks 15-20.

A loooong time ago, I tried high doses of test for approx. 12 weeks. The muscle gains were not that much over approx. 800mgs per week, but I had a great "feeling" when taking the large quantity. It was very interesting. Not quite worth it though.

Welcome, IMM.

1. Try to change the compounds at least every other cycle. That way you are introducing something new to the body with a different chemical structure. Example test cyp+deca+dbol then test enanthate+adrol+EQ then test prop+anavar+tren repeat. This also assume correct PCT and time off in between cycles.

2. Dosage do have a ceiling of benefits vs risk. I would say for an experienced user 1g test per week is quite standard...some as high as 2g some 1.5g. Depending on the individual some can tolerate more some cant.

Pinhead: You're right! There is nothing better than test and tren. That makes a great base for any cycle. I totally agree.

BigDaddyFreak: I also had my hand at long cycles and I believe you to be right that it's not so much the mg amount as it is the length that the compound is used. I had friends that would stay on year round on relatively small doses and look big, solid, tight, hard and vascular all at the same time. (Health being the price...lol) Thanks bud.

Praetorian: Yes, that's a good idea to encorperate new compounds in different combinations. That would keep things fresh and excititing. Good tip.

In my expereinces in the past ive done many steroid cycles up to 17 and my most effective were test and tren. Ive gone up to 2000mg of test and well i cant go to high on fina because of roid rage , But fina gets me super cut. Not much difference IMO from 2000mg of test to 1000mg except my sex drive went bonkers i was hitting on every decent looking woman with tits hahaha and im married so that was trouble haha. Ive have quit steroids now for at least 6 months really trying to have a baby with my wife and decided to go the natural way.:bch

BIGPOPPAPUMP: You're absolutely right. I've gone up to 1.5g of test and didn't notice much difference than 750mg. It was more of a mental change than physical. But with that said, I did grow like a weed on that much test.

I don't think the same rules apply for other gear. Test one of the few that you can really load up on.

-Forget all orals because your liver will explode
-Deca and Eq would be a waste of money
-Winstrol would welt you up like a rumble with a bear
-Tren would make you implode (inside out, then shit bricks) ...lol

Welcome Bro !!

I personally like to stick to around 750mg MAX of test. Reason being is more does not always equal more gains, most times just more sides. As P mentioned, try introducing a new compound every cycle into the mix. That should help keep things moving along.

Thanks bro. I like 750mg/ week also. It seems to be the best of both worlds (i.e. health and gains). I think I will follow your and Pinhead's advice and change it now and then.
