found this to be interesting. Kinda comical at times. They have come up with some good answers to "justify" the use of AAS. Take a look:

They only justify it for horses. They will never try to justify it for humans.

"The drugs help horses build muscle, improve speed and recover faster from races, injuries and operations. They also bulk up the thoroughbreds, which are carrying their entire weight on legs that aren't much bigger than a human adult's, and enable them to handle the stress on their muscles and bones."

my question is:
don't humans also need to "build muscle, improve speed and recover faster from races, injuries and operations"?

Exactly what I was thinking.

NO. We WANT too. We don't NEED to unless we are ill, which is when steroids are used.

Sorry, just being honest.

Well a horse likely doesn't WANT to be a race horse... they are forced to be one but in general I agree with you.

Also sounds like circular reasoning. Horses OBVIOUSLY have to carry their bulk on their four legs just like we carry ours on two, otherwise none of us could get around. It's axiomatic. Of course, when you 'bulk them up' to make them bigger, stronger, and faster, they would justify it by claiming they need more muscle in their legs to carry the additional muscle in their upper bodies.
