can someone with in depth knowledge explain the difference between these two in terms of dealing with gyno in a non-progesterone situation?
besides the water adex deals with and the effect it has on your lipids (for some) what is the difference between them in terms of effectiveness and such.
thanks

Nolvadex=SERM's(Selective Estrogen Receptor Modulation)
To make a short story, Nolva does not lower Estrogen in the body but instead it only blocks some receptor to avoid side effect like Gyno BUT does NOT lower estrogen in your body.
Arimidex=AI's(Aromatase Inhibitors)
It Competes with Estrogen for the aromatase enzyme, it lowers estrogen in the body instead of just blocking certain Receptor.
For Gyno i would use Femera(Letrozole) works very well.

if there is already some mild gyno would adex be ok to prevent it from getting worse or should I be using Letro at 2.5 ED until it goes away then lower the dose to maintain?

to get rid of Gyno Letro seems better but to control estrogen i would go with adex

whats about Aromasin
whats about Aromasin
Almost as strong as Letro.
Arimidex stop 78% estrogen in blood stream
Aromasin stop 85%
Letro stop 98%
I find Adex + nolva work better than Letro.
I'm on letro 2.5mg/day right now (1 week in) but i'm confident nolva + adex was best

Letro kills libido too.. Hmmmm
i have heard you need a small amount of estrogen for libido so that would make sense

From my experience and knowledge:
Nolva is simply a mild estrogen itself that binds to the estrogen receptor more easily in order to not allow the harsher molecules to bind
I have also used Arimidex and Aromasine and to be totally honest I found arimidex to be the more potent of the two. It reduces my nip swelling, eliminates extra water weight, and boosts my libido (cum volume). I wasn't that impressed with Aromasine. I feel it is better suited for post cycle therapy.
Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but Arimidex counteracts Nolva therefore you cannot use them together unless you have some doe to burn.
Lastly, Letro does seem to be the strongest of them all from what I have read. I have not used it so I cannot give personal feedback but I am under the impression that the human body does need some nature levels of estrogen to function properly.

Yes, Adex makes Nolva useless, so there's no need to use both at the same time. That's why Nolvadex is best for PCT because it doesn't inhibit estrogen, just protects certain tissue, while encouraging the pituitary to do its thing. Some estrogen is necessary for both muscle growth and for libido, but too much works the other way. Use too much Arimidex, and libido suffers. Use just a little, and it seems to increase.

I'm no freeze, but I can tell you it'll stop the estrogen and progesterone which accelerates prolactin gyno, but caber/dostinex will only really take care of prolactin problems.

Question for this thread, how does the letrozole and other inhibitors affect (HDL) cholesterol levels since estrogen is important for its existance? What are the safe guidlines for its use to protect the cardiac systems from damage?

I find that letro helps prevent prolactin sides if used. I never have a problem if I use letro as it lowers estrogen levels greatly, and it lowers progesterone. Gyno is estrogen dependant- prolactin type as well.
Nolva has a tendency to promote prolactin type gyno and shoudl not be used.
