I have been playing in Bauer Vapours for many years, and from what Ive read and lots of personal experience in the Vapour boots, I think it might be time to switch to the extra stiff, extra wide Graf boots. Im looking into getting the Graf 709 as it is geared for my weight and level of ability. Anyone have any feedback on these skates? Anyone switched from Bauer's to these?

Graf skates are by far the best skate out there. You'll pay for the extra comfort, but it's waaay worth it. I have wider feet and could never find a skate I like 100%. I've used Graf for about 6 yrs. Will never buy another kind. They are like Croc's...only cooler!! LOL

dude, that is excellent feedback. my feet are super wide, almost to the point of freakish. my feet look like duck flippers they are so wide and flat across the top. when it comes to hockey equipment i will spare no expense, as it is always worth the investment. sometimes you have to spoil yourself. thanks dude.

out of curiosity? what do you wear? what model?

I switched to graf then back the bauer... I love the concept of grafs but they just aren't made for my feet... I've got long skinny flat feet... if your feet are wide with a big arch I'd say go for it... but if they're flat... you might want to stick with the vapours... they're what I used for the majority of my career.

graf's are the best skates you will ever own...you might hate them for the first while cause it seems like forever to break them in but once you do its like slippers on your feet...
I hate to say it but bauers are absolute shit compared to them....

All I ever used was CCM. have narrow feet, so I don't think Graphs would be good for me. However, I do know a few people who wear Graphs and they claim that they are the best skate they've ever owned.

I got the 703's. They should say W+ if you want the wider model. Thats what I got. They had to be ordered in tho. well worth it.
