View Full Version : Taking the Lid Off GH Injects?

Okay, for years now I have popped the plastic top from my GH poweders then used a small pliers to remove the aluminum & rubber stopper. After releasing the vacuum therein, I send my bac water down the side of the bottle.

Now I find most of you never remove that aluminum-covered rubber stopper. You just inject the bac water right through it. I can see that it's more sterile, but a few minutes in the air while the poweder dissolves cannot be that unsterile because I have never had an infection. Do you remove your rubber stopper before mixing your GH or do you leave them in?

(Seems to me leaving the stopper in you have less control of where your water shoots, so you get more right on the product.)

That would mean you are injecting 10iu every shot I assume? I've never heard of anyone doing it that way... What are you trying to accomplish?

No, with the lid off I can use two slin pins, one after the other. Think about it.

You can also get every last drop.

When I put the water in there, I use a 25g1" and I just dribble it down the side of the glass. . like put it 1mm through the stopper and just push slowly and hold the bottle sidways so the water dribbles down onto the powder. I do have to say I bet I waste 1/4 IU per 10 IU though that just can't get into the syringe. . seems like a bad idea for some reason . . and a lot of extra work for not a lot of extra benefit.

Nope, I just angle a 25 guage x 1 inch for mixing up against the inside of the vial and let it dribble down..

I also use 2ML of BW / 10iu so there's less wastage...

Well, we got a lot of "nevers", like a chant from a religion, but I just don't see that a few second's exposure to the air can do any harm at all. Nothing else touches the solution but bac water & my needle.

(My first cycle, many suns ago, I even popped the tops on my oil-based gear with no ill effects. No more, however.)

If you don't pop the top, you can't get out every last drop of the solution, plus I get to add water to each little bottle afterwards and drink down the residue.:D
