These Human Rights Tribunals are complete garbage though and act like courts without the same legal status.
The way I see it the owner should be able to decide who he wants in his gym and if he doesn't want Ru Paul around that's his choice.

I would not go as far to call the tranny a "freak", but it seems he was respectful in refusing membership.
In the end the owner potentially takes a financial hit from a lost membership sold, but he also has to balance that with the loss of existing members and their patronage.

It's assumed. As an owner of a private business I believe you can refuse service to anyone. It's his gym, his rules. This is a farce. Of course this person would make his other female members uncomfortable. I hope the gym owner ends up getting money out of the deal and tell the person to screw off. What I find interesting is that she says that she actually got access to a club and never had any incident.

Plus the fact that she wanted to go to a woman's only club means that she actually believes in segregation to the opposite sex that is a form of discrimination in itself.


I am completely against woman's only gyms as they are discriminatory against men. If you open a white people only club that is discrimination but if any other group does the same it is fine.

On other hand calling someone a freak because they are/look different is precisely the treatment that many people give to bodybuilders. Respect is an avenue that goes both ways.

I started reading the story and was offended..I have a deep voice but I"m very feminine. Discrimination...

I was called sir by a Bell rep once..I wanted to cry.

Why are they not happy to go into the private change rooms or the family ones where they can lock the doors when in them? We don't make them uncomfortable..why do they want to make others?

At what point does a man become a woman or a woman become a man? Just because this guy thinks or wants to be a women it doesn't make him one. Just because this guy has taken some hormone shots doesn't mean he's a women. If this guy had the operation and is no longer supporting male parts and is taking hormone replacement therapy then he is committed to becoming a woman, and therefore may be considered one. But until that point...no way.
