lower back pain or pump?

I am a natty juniour and my comp is in 7-8 weeks now. Just recently (last 2-3days) my back has had this odd pain. Not a muscle pull becuase i can work out and get my cardio in still but like a involuntary contraction ( back is like shaking). I dont no what to do or what is causing this but it hurts and sucks. I spent like 20 minutes laying down in pain but its not like from deadlifts or anything it was just out of nowhere. Im 19 years old and 6% BF so i do not have a clue why this is happening. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I read about back pumps? Could this be a back pump or is it likely a DOMS pain or pain from a pulled muscle or something?

Sounds like a back spasm...they are dirty painful SOB's. If it is a spasm there is usually a underlying reason it is happening. I would get your back checked if it continues.
