Hey guys. Just wondering what the consensus is on using T3 as a cutting agent when using it with various AAS.

I have heard of guys doing the classic "ramp up - ramp down" method, and I have heard of some just using low dose T3 during the entire cycle.

What is your opinion?

Because the body will attenuate to the drug over time and also requires time to adapt to an increase in dosage without feeling sides it is best to start at a relatively low dose ie 2mcg daily and gradually increase the dose through the cutting cycle. I usually have my athletes increase by 12.5mcg every two weeks or so until hitting a maximum of 55-100mcg daily depending on the sex, weight, etc of the athlete in question.

Right now I'm using human grade t3's from the pharmacy and the insert says and prescrtiption advises to start with 10-20mcg and increase by 20mcg every week until desired dosage not exceeding 80-100mcg.

If you read 9th edition anabolics it says the same thing for doses but also adds for physique enhancing effect for athletes that the dose can start at 10-25 and increase by 20-25mcg every 4-7 days not exceding 75 mcg-80mcg. This dose changed from a max of 100mcg from previous editions of the book for whatever reason. It also recomends ramp up and down with the cycle not exceeding 6 weeks.

Thats outdated and antiquated information. The pharmacy insert does not pertain to athletes looking to reduce fat it is for replacement hormone therapy. Ramping up 20-25mcg every 7 days will illicit unwanted side effects and 6 weeks is 1980's propoganda.

So you suggest no ramping down then and going straight into a thyroid crash from 55 to 100 mcg?

I understand you can run it for more than six weeks as many pros run it year round, I was just giving up some published info on the question not my own personal advice.

I'm running T3 from the pharmacy myself.

I currently have 100- 25mcg pils.

I plan on 1/2 pill for 5 days. 1 pill for 5 days. 1.5 pills for 5 days. 2 pills for 5 days.(Which equals to 50mcg) then pyrmid back down. For a total for only 40 days never exceeding 50mcg.

I am running this with 60mg daily anavar and 25mg EOD of proviron. Plus 3iu GH daily.

It's day 6 and I have notice a mild change in my mid section. However, mentaly I feel awsome and increased libido.

Go figure.

I don't think he meant no ramping up/down. Try and start @ 100mcg and tell me how you feel. I jump by 12.5mcg every 4-5days. Up and down with 100mcg being max dosage. I usually start at 12.5, this time I started @25 and didn't feel good a few times after I dosed.

Jumping by 10-12.5 every 4-5 days is what I prefer but I would at least start with 10 or 12.5 not 2mcg....2 weeks before you raise your dose seems like a really long time IMO. I've never had any adverse sides when I start and finish at 20mcg. I run for 8 weeks as a precaution because like everything hormonal in your body it works on a negative feedback loop so you will want to give your body a chance to reach homeostasis.

well he is coming at it from a competition perspective which means T3 starts from day 1 therefore it's 16 weeks (or more) of T3

I see your point, if you're running it for that long it makes sense then....... I've read some pros will run this stuff all year.

Personally i wouldn't go higher than 50mcg i just found the sides to be too much, I was sweating like a pig and i'd get out of breathe wayyyyyyy too easy.

I also train in certain fighting styles and I have a tendancy to gas while on T3
