Nothing more than a proxy surfer. Lots of them out there. Often used if you don't want mods/admins to know your IP Address. Not 100% safe though. You can still be tracked even when hiding behind a proxy...

Very good!
proxies are easy to find and use....in fact many think that proxies are sometimes windows left by Gov agencies, where they just watch who is doing what.
Real proxies, with tunnels, delays, mirror, VNP and much more is where the money is at biootches :D :D

Ahhhh so I see B2J is a fellow Network Admin? I use to teach Network Design and Implementation at an IT College in Toronto. Hate the computer industry so I'm out of it now.

just curious..what's wrong with IT? it is one of the areas i was thinking of getting into ,specifically network security. My thinking that IT is still a relatively new field so jobs would be available in the next few yrs..Wouldn't mind hearing your view

Nothing wrong with IT bud. There can be lots of work out there but the problem is there are too many people in the field in our areas (Mississauga through GTA) so the pay has really come down. I have had a company consisting of 300 workstations, a rack server and cisco routers offer me $10.00 per hour to manage it... No way in hell would I do that but the problem is there are lots of people out there that would. The business (I own) I'm in now I make over $150,000 per year. No company can pay me that much money to do IT.

Ya, IT has come down a lot in $$. But demand is still there. They just don't want to pay you decent money to do it anymore.

I live in a rural area, and service techs make decent coin, as long as they have solid contracts, as no one company will hire you full time up here.
