Not so sure it`s used as a performance enhancer. Some guys use it in high doses to help control prolactin sides. It`s used in certain supps to help lose water retention. In ZMA it`s said to assist in the vivid dreams one often experiences. I just use a b-complex daily to help assist in proper absorption of protein carbs and lipids. It`s also said to be helpful in a healthy brain. Ideally since a b-complex is quick in quick out of the body, I sometimes take my b-50 tablet and take half in the morning and half at night.
