14%
More cardio and less carbs should help tighten up more, Also oblique crunches and lots of ab work usually helps reduce the handles. Clen could help but I`m not a big fan of it myself.

there's genetic predisposition for cirtain areas to carry more fat then others in men, as there is for women too. everyone says to do cardio and diet, and thats the honest truth. You better learn to love it.

Is the ab work going to add muscle and therefore look leaner?
Because I am lost otherwise as we know target muscle training does not result in target fat loss.
Best way for fat loss is interval training hands down because of the natural GH boost it supplies, and the fact it is anabolic in nature.

agree with you about target fat loss, don't beleive it. I store around my waist and a simple rule is the first place fat goes will be the last place it comes off.
Cardio and diet fundamentals, love it or hate it, there is no magic bullet

hello, try Russian twists!! If you don't know how, try this...OK in the Standing position, with good posture keep your feet shld/ length apart, keep hip's as still as possible then rotate from side to side, grip your hands in front of you at hip/oblq level..posture is key, start slow & try not to move lower torso..at first there will be movement but you will feel at a stretch side to side, now you can control the level of that stretch by moving your hands to proper position, then you find were you want to burn the fat keep your hands in that position...you can speed up if you like just don't move lower torso get the movement down first...now there's no rep's here pick a song and go with it...that stretch will start to burn and will feel like your on fire...Try this for a month of so when you have it down pack, add a 5lbs dumb bell and start all over again, keep upping the weight..by no time with cardio and diet you will have some nice oblq's.
Any question's just P.M me Z.......

Remember lots of hormonal factors influence fat deposits so elevated levels of cortisol from stress, adrenal fatigue, or poor sleeping habits will not help the cause.

Who told you that you were 14% bodyfat? cause so far you have a fatty chest and love handles. So IMO you are either fatter than you think you are or you are imagining fat where there isn't any.

BBs who compete drop the fat the easiest by doing early morning cardio on an empty stomach. Have you ever tried this...maybe 3 days a week might help?

Bowlcut is right.
when you accumulate more fat around the waist then the rest of your body its often cause by cortisol.

You cannot spot reduce fat. Any exercise that works the muscles of an area is going to do just that...work the muscles in that area...that are under the fat.
Diet, lifting & cardio. Like has already been said, there is no magic bullet.
Diet plays a bigger role in things than people like to believe.
Remember that the more muscle you have, the faster your metabolism is too...don't forsake lifting.

once you get to lower BF% numbers, the weird deposits start to fade away.
I alwa0ys had fat from nipple to armpit and was so pissed off. Then once I approached 10% it went away... Same with around belly button and love handles... You just need to keep working it

i have the same issue, which is why im on the keto diet
im not chunky anywhere else until you hit my handles, so im cutting until it goes away... then again you can always just boost your upper body up to reduce the effect of the handles

10% body fat? Is the even achievable without substance help? Diet will get you so far and once you’re off the fat returns?
As you can see I am of Indian Fighting heritage and my genes are either farmers or fighters?
Genetically is it achievable I don’t want to make a goal that is not realistically achievable?
I would love to be Ripped and have no handles.

Fewer calories and more cardio... and yes, 10% bf is 100% achievable naturally.

Achievable w/o substance help? Of course it is! Have you ever seen natural bodybuilders?---on stage definitely less than 10%bf.
Probably a few ppl that train at the very gym you do that are less then 10%bf w/o substances (most of those though probably have very high metabolisms/are genetically predisposed to being lean, but it is an example).
MAKE A SOUND PLAN (OR GET HELP WITH ONE) AND EXECUTE IT.

My buddy who did the skinfold test has done thousands of them and learned from Charles Poliquin so unless Poliquin's method are off then my other friend was at 2%.

I still call bullshit. 3% body fat for men is needed to protect internal organs.

let's just agree that he was real cut, before the flaming begins :tu
there is no spot reduction. A while back I heard that rubbing yohimbine on problem areas before cardio could work but i've never really tried it.

Skinfold calipers don't measure total bf% just subcutaneous. So yeah, it is impossible to have an overall bf of less than 3%. Even at super low bf% people still have a large fold of fat covering/connected to their intestines. I've looked :). Having less than 2% below the skin is achievable.
Although calipers arn't exactly accurate. Unless it's hydrostatic or you have a bod pod, Dexa, something like that it's just a good guess.

Yo bro.. I have the same issue. Super thick waste.. Partly Genetics partly from super heavy deads i think. Anyways.. Last time I dieted.. They didnt go away till I hit like 8% BF I needed to drop a lot of weight, and they were the last to go. CArdio Cardio Cardio..and of course Diet..
BUT... when I was all leaned down having had a thick waste made my groin lines ( whatever they are called ) stick out like crazy and looked bad ass..
Good luck dude!

Going my Charles Poliquins biosignature fat around your belly buttom/lower abdominals is an indication of high cortisol levels, for love handles and fat around your scapula that indicates high insulin levels. So two things, eat a low carb high protein high fat diet, a keto diet would work wonders for you and also increase blood flow to that stubborn fat by using yohimbine hcl, transdermally will avoid the stimulation and side effects seen with higher dosing. Try Lipo-derm ultra by Avant Labs. So try the transdermal yohimbine hcl or atleast a burner with yohimbine hcl in it, like Lipo 6 or Leviathan Reloaded and eat low carbs, do all of this with empty stomach cardio (low blood sugar) and you'll see those love handles thinning up.

I'm surprised no one has said lipo. Many people are simply predisposed to love handles. While if ripped down to competition levels they will be gone some people will carry their fat there at pretty much any bodyfat percentage.

Lipo? let's not go extreme.
Bring the bodyfat level down and whatever you can pinch will shrink. That means simply running a caloric deficit, through diet and cardio if needed. If you don't know how much you're eating now...total calories, and "macronutrient breakdown" grams of protein, carbs and fat then you still have got a lot of work to do. Stick with it bro. It'll be worth it when people say, man i want to look like you!

If you have fat on your obliques, your upper back should have higher fat deposits as well. That means you are insulin resistant since that's where the body stores fat from excess carb intake. Basically, you have to cut the carbs, period. You got to go on a strict low carb diet my friend.
Fenugreek seed has helped me a lot with this issue, if you are looking for a supplement.

Where do you find literature on selective fat deposits?
