flash drives

ok so i reformated my HD adn backed up what i needed to onto a flash drive.

now that i am reformated everytime i plug this flash drive in it asks me to format it?

I NEED THE FILES FROM IT! how do i get em?

Strange that it's asking you that. Have you tried attaching it to a different computer?

Easier way to do it is just to partition the the drive by going to "Control Panels" ---> "Administrative Tool"
---> "Computer Management" ---> "Disk Management", Right click on the Flash drive and format it.

did you try a different computer? If you change operating systems, it can sometimes be in conflict with the new OS.

Oh man ive been in the same situation. Lost all the data. You can try going to the manufactures website and some offer software to format and backup data on flash drive.

Also there are data recovery labs that specialize in this.

try a product called R-Studio, try there demo and see if all the data is there, if it is and it should be as long as you have not formatted it message me and i will pm you an activation key so you can retrieve the files.
