The only one I've purchased was flex and it such a piece of ****. The pictures are entertaining, but the content and advertising made me lose all interest

I used to like MD, especially since I rip out all the double page ads as soon as it arrives, but I've noticed that most of the articles are recycled and content has been steadily decreasing.

Add to that the garbage going on involving Steve (I lust for mens glutes) Blechman abruptly firing John Romano and Dave Palumbo I'm no longer a fan.

Honestly the only magazine that ever has new and interesting articles (about stuff other than training) every month is Mens Health.

edit: MH isn't a bodybuilding mag though so I'll have to omit my vote.

i wish flex would put in some anabolic talk like MD does but i like flex and lots of the articles and different workouts they have used in the past years, ive subscribed for 56 years straight now and dont regret it.

MD but I would gladly just buy the 8 pages of articals and pass on the 392 pages of advertising.

The stunning lack of content in these magazines has pretty much had me give up on them in the last 10 year.

I used to buy MD once on a while but then askes myself "Is it worth the $10?" Every month they present conflicting ideas on all topics with the usual "Still needs more investigation for conclusive results." The other thing is I always found myself not being able to stick with one way of thinking being I`d say distracted by too much information, and wanting to buy lot`s of supplements. I`d agree with Descimus and say there is about 10 pages of worthwhile info. Now I mostly re-read articles when I`m on the shitter.

I used to get MD mainly for Daves column. Now as far as I am concerned they are all shit. Nothing but advertisements for supplements that dont do anything but drain your wallet. The same rehashed articles with BS routines from the pros...my ass. Scientific study BS which may do this or may do that...what a crock. Its nothing but marketing propaganda now...oh how about some Anodrol, or Dianibol...what a joke. If I have to read one more BS article about how some pro doesnt bench or squat becuse it doesnt matter how much he lifts im gonna puke.
I prefer to spend time at T-Nation, RX Muscle, West Side, Elite FTS etc
Listening to Blechmans BS postings is like taking powerlifting tips from the guy with knees wraps, chalk, smelling salts, and a power belt just about to squat 225lbs....PLEEEEEASE!!!!

I have to agree here. MuscleMedia, when they first came out, (before the whole "body for life" - "eas" sell out), was the best mag there was. It was a hardcore mag for hardcore lifters. Nowadays its all promos and recycled information.

That is so true. I remember when the mag came out once every 2 months and would just be so anxious to get it. The first aritcle I ever read in mm2k was the one where they paid the pro 2000$ for the no holds barred interview, I was so hooked. That and the toilet humour Dan Duchaine would write, I can remembe being in tears reading his work and my mom looking at me... I would read her a few lines and she`d just shake her head. Not much has changed! Anyway overall such a hardcore mag right until the golden boy episode, which is kinda what is happening to MD right now.
