I wish they would nail more of these ****ers, most of them seem to have their own rules to the road and more than a few people have died because of it.

How do you uphold the law when you feel you are above it?

that's so satisfying to see....i routinely see cops rolling through stop signs, talking on the phone while driving, being arrogant dicks, etc etc....i mean lead by example, they should be held to a higher standard...
how fair is it that cops let go other cops family members too, ****ing nepotism!

Obviously she was pulled over by another O.P.P officer who has been on the force allot longer then 4 years.

Good for them, but this shit is getting out of control. In BC we have too much cops messing up. I remember when there was a drunk female officer who got caught going through a roadcheck in a marked Van, thinking she'll get a free pass.

It was her license that was suspended for 7 days. Pretty sure that is the standard for anyone caught going 50 over...

Even if she had her job suspended it would be with pay... I dont know of too many reasons a cop gets suspended without pay...

I respect police to the fullest. My best friends are cops... However, there are rules that need to be followed by everyone and this stunt driving law is one of them.. I'm glad she was busted...

No...Actually the fines can be that big for a second offense. First offence for 50kms/hour over now is $2000 minimum plus impound charges for the week your car is taken away as well as you license which is usually going to be $500-$1000 for the impound fee plus a re-einstatement fee for your license too not to mention the hike on your insurance premiums so when its all said in done it is a big deal.

I got a laugh when they said they impounded the cop car like it was her own lol I'm sure if it was her own car she wouldn't of been doing so. She thought she was above the law and could get away with it.

i'm kind of shocked. I figured if she's in an official police vehicle, once she's pulled over and identifies who she is that she would have been let go.

how is it that cops can pull over cops who are on duty and give them tickets?? doesn't it seem odd?

Fantino is busting balls against his own when it comes to driving this fast on duty when not in the lawful execution of duty...

Fantino really is the man. He *seems* to be what an ideal cop should strive to be.

I agree, I have cops in the family and the "Blue Wall" is almost impossible to break unless they push you out of it.
