I really can't think WHY it would. They don't put you down, there's no bleeding...They just give you eyedrops so you can't blink, cut your eye flap, and laser them until you smell burnt hair.

edit: if i remember correctly (it was like 4 years ago when I had mine done) the bigger problem may be that you're not supposed to engage in any physical activity for a week or two after.

edit 2: mine was wavefront lasik. Don't know how it is for PRK.

Can't see why it would affect it...BUT if your thinking about it now, for piece of mind, why don't you just wait...Just my $0.02

WAIT

Are you getting lasik or laser assisted lasik or old-school PRK?

I got old school PRK when I had mine done 3 years ago, largely because I refused to give up contact sports for 6 months.

Healing time was about 4 days (of pure hell) with the left being slightly weaker, but its evened out now.

The only reason I say to wait was because at the time I was on some DBOL & I swear elevated BP affected my vision....anyone else?

I had PRK done 10 months while taking epistane. No adverse effects.

That's weird my left eye was also a bit weaker. I think I fuked up the eye test though. Gotta love the burning eyes and super light sensitivity afterward. Feels like someone pepper sprayed ya.

One more thing OP, if you have the cash opt for the PRK it's safer than lasik. For one it's bladeless no cutting a flap, and it removes less material from the eye which leaves the eye healthier. Good luck with your surgery!

I would wait..why? I know allot of people who had issues with there surgery after and they weren't using juice...it had nothing to do with the surgeon , everyone is different though but why take the risk and complicate things with something that may dry you out more... Those dam eyes need allot a lubrication...

Wow. That's pricey. Is that standard or does it vary on how much has to be done?

I think it varies from person to person. I also went to one of the more expensive places. I have a cousin who got it done for 700 dollars a eye.

How long did you have to wait before you could hit up the gym again??

I would wait - for a long time - if at all. Some guys may say they are fine but I know someone who had it done about 15 years ago and their vision has regressed. I'm not sure what caused it slin or the juice but he swears that it was one of those 2 that made his vision worse after having the surgery. You may be fine but are you willing to chance it? Pay for the surgery and then still have to wear glasses/contacts a few years later???

It's normal for your eyes to regress after surgery and anabolics shouldn't have anything to do with it.

I'm still 20/20 with my left eye and with both open but I'm probably 20/25 or 20/30 with just my right eye. I went with LasikMD and I know if my vision regresses to the point where I'll need contacts or glasses (20/40 i think) I get it repaired for free.

Still the best money I've ever spent considering my prescription was like -5.00.

The paper they gave me said no weightlifting for a week but I took two just to be safe.

They tell you that before surgery as you get older your eyes may change again. Most come with something called a clear vision plan. Mine covers me for 3 years after surgery. If my eyes change I get free surgery.

I think mine was a combination of that and playing game gear under my blanket for hours instead of going to bed.

And maybe that virtual boy nintendo thing...that's gotta be guaranteed blindness for sure.
