so i got this new toshiba laptop....... nothing but the second best for me LOL
anyways.. when I press the question mark ...... shift button....... it comes out like this É

Do you have an alt car key on your keyboard ? Try that

Also change your keyboard type in your options to US English (under the control panel then languages)

yeah your keyboard language sound incorrect. if you bought it new it would have asked you to select the keyboard standard when you installed the OS or upon first boot. but computers aren't perfect. i don't know what OS you have but you can google hoe to apply the correct changes. if you are familiar with the Control Panel you can do the same. it's just a software problem,,, not a big deal

nothing is wrong with it......(?) LOL.............. i just bought the cheapest laptop available at that store and that's why i said............ nothing but the second best is good enough for me.
