cool, I think the touch screen technology will need to be developed even further before we can get an economical mass produced VR system.

It is quite staggering how things are accelerating. I have been in IT both personally and professionally for about 20 years as well. It is gotten to a point it is impossible to keep up with all the new technologies out there. I remember when my dream machine was a DX4 100 with 16mb of ram and a 500mb hardrive. There is more power than that in cell phones now.
Theres no way a computer will be as powerful as the human brain. Impossible IMO. But excellent facts in the video.

i disagree..
I disagree with you. It takes a human mind to develop a computer therefore the human mind will always out rank the computer.

they are talking about sheer computation not intelligence or the ability to rationalise.

if you consider intelligence to be a rank in an iq test well i am sure a computer will win against the smartest person not too long from now.. same with computation.. i mean the top chess player in the world was already beat by a computer.. i think since then he has one but he may have gotten beat again im not sure..
