lol, i know...Its now or not this winter at all, we still get cheat nights, (not swingers lol just food) after a few more weeks there will be no cheating at all, still be at 15 weeks out when we go on our journey....I lose my appetite in the heat so i hope that will be a blessing...WTF, it will be fun...shark swimming, good idea, ive always wanted to swim with a shark ever since i saw The Fonz (happy days) jump over the shark tank on his bike,,,,to cool..:p

if its an all inclusive vacation, they make grilled chicken 4 million different ways. If you do the grill stuff, you can get all your food made on the spot in front of you. I ate well in playa del carmen.

^^^ ahh true. I forgot about that. Never gone while dieting. I usually like ot book a trip south the second I am done a contest. Nothing better than getting on a plane where it looks like you just came back from where you are going (tanned) lol

yup what macka said.....plus we are packing a few lbs of protein powders etc....Im not to worried about it, we have good willpower...
It would be pointless to go away the second we are done contest....Its in June, we live in some of the nicest countryside in Canada IMO,
plus its riding season, we stay here...vroooom:greet

I had eggs for breaky everyday, they have real FARM eggs, chicken at lunch and steak for supper. The beef and chicken are free range and have no roids or anti-b's in them. It tastes much better IMO. The vegies also taste much better there too. If I didn't drink I might have lost weight there lol.

Won't be hard to stick to the diet. They have lots of variety when it's all inclusive, just have to stick to it.

I am just excited to go on a holiday with IW and be somewhere HOT!!

I went down to the riveria maya last june, ripped. Didn't stay that way and ate and ate and ate. As for the quality of food it depends. AI or not? Personally I agree with phsy, one of the point of going down is to eat. I can't believe how much I ate last june. For breakfast alone I'd have a 4egg omlette, yogurt/cottage cheese with granola+fruit, and 2 pieces of bread slathered in peanut butter and nutella (1/4"thick) with 2 (or 3) cappucino's. Normally the eggs would have been enough. Fun times. One day though the normal coffee dude was gone and the capp's were being make with instant coffee make into a concentrate!! blech!
There was a starbucks in PDC which had lactose free milk which was a huge bonus!

If you are going down there are condo's where you make your own food and not pay the AI costs, you just have to buy airfare and you are set. This would be my choice were it not the need for a kid's club.

Self control is all it is. I am not to concerned about it. We are taking protein powder, you can get them to make just eggs for you, there is always chicken/seafood/steak, lots of salads........just have to make the right choices.

I have been to quite a few AI's, and there is always enough choices.

The all inclusive to the european plans there wasn't a lot of diffrence in price when you compare eating out. We would spend that much money in 7 days on steaks/chicken eating out.

Holidays are also about getting away, we haven't ever been on a holiday like this before together and dieting isn't going to change the good time we are going to have.

Thats still not much food, how in heck did you get fat on that?? i eat that much dieting...without the cappucinos..put a 1 in front of the 4 for omellette and then we are talking..

I did the AI because I really didn't want to pull out the plastic in Mexico, and I wasn't to sure about eating downtown. I did end up eating downtown twice, and it was a restaurant owned by the same company who owned the resort.

I'm not a big MOFO like you guys. I went down 163lbs 6-7%bf veinly bastard, yeah not huge but I've been there done that get big a f'ing possible thang (i'm only 5'7"). Just working out on a reg. basis is hard enough with kids. That breakfast was 3-4x the cal's of the dieting breakfast. Still I kept getting stared at wherever I went.
Mexican's are either small impoverished looking, or fat fat fat. On the weekends at my resort the locals flooded in. In Mexico, being fat is a sign of wealth (the poor are super skinny). I've never seen so many obese kids. The adults were obnoxious but so were the Italians and I heard of a few fights between the 2 over beach chair towel "renting", lol.

BTW the peso is flatlining. got 9.75:1 last time, now it's 11+:1, or maybe a bit less today as our dollar got wacked with our loudy employment report....

Hotel Mercurio, if you are going to Playa Del Carmen, I have heard Suites del Sol is a good place if you want to hit the beach and party.
