Really stupid HCG question

Ok, this might seem like a stupid question, but I've never taken HCG before, so I don't have any previous exp. with it. Most of the info I've read suggests taking 500 IU ED for about 3 weeks or so. The stuff I have is 5000 IU, in a 5ml vial. I don't have any pins that are marked for IU's. So do I need to get insulin pins for this stuff? If so, is this supposed to be taken intra muscularly or in the skin like insulin?

divide 10 shots into 5000 iu 1/10 of volume , could add more bac stat water to make it easier to divide doses. you can inject sub q . insuline pins would be easier. i did mine added 5 cc bs to 5000 iu 10 1/2cc shots

Here is what i do: buy a 30ml bottle of baterioistic (sp) water and a empty sterile vial from getpinz.com. I like to mix the 5000iu of powder with 5ml of water and store it in the sterile vial, that way it is a concentration of 1000iu/ml and to get 500iu all you need to do is inject .5ml. Now what you want to do is open the vial with the hcg powder, carefully inject one ml of sterile water into it, stir it carefully, draw it out and inject it into the sterile vial. Next add an additional 4ml of water to the vial with a syringe and voila, you have 5ml of solution with 5000iu of HCG in it. This makes it easy to store in the fridge also.

By the way 500iu/day for three weeks is ridiculous...hcg causes peak output of the testes in approx 72 hrs, so 500iu e3rd is optimal frequency. This is of course recommended protocol ON cycle. For pct you will need a higher dosage because you need to basically kick start the testes back into producing testosterone. In this case i recommend 1500iu e3rd for three injections, followed by 500iu e3rd day for four more injections then start your pct drugs (clomid, nolva, aromasin etc.).

By the way insulin syringes are the best way to go but you can also use regular I.M. Syringes. HCG can be inject sub-Q (just into the fatty tissue of the belly) or IM. In clinical studies HCG is administered IM, so that is how i do it...either way is effective though.

I wanted to go longer but with the last stuff I bought, I found out that I really hate EO based stuff. So I have no choice but to stop my cycle early...:(

Do you think I could get away with just running one of the 5000iu vials? And is there a way to tell for sure when you have started producing your own test again and can stop the pct?

with only 500mg a week you can definitely get away with the one bottle and save the other for future

The reason for the extra sterile vial is that most HCG comes in a single small vial and general comes with 1ml of water for mixing. In your case this may not be necessary.

Absolutely you can run just one 5000iu vial. Because it was such a short cycle just inject 1000iu e3rd day for three shots, then 500iu e3rd for 4 shots and that will total 5000iu. Even though your cycle was somewhat short you still need to stimulate your testes with the HCG. Shut down is shut down whether it be 9 weeks or 16 weeks, so do your self a favour and run the HCG, it will help your recovery immensely.

Shut down is shut down, whether it be 9 weeks or 16 the testes will still need to be kick started into gear. HCG is indispensable for optimal recovery IMO.

tons of different theories on hcg. try what works . read an article that advocates 100 iu every day for duration of cycle. sounded interesting might look into it next time

I believe if you run it too long or too much it can shut you down even further, rather than helping you. I am not sure on the time frame but I think 3 weeks is the max, but research to your needs.

Precisely. Large doses can damage the leydig cells of the testes. Length of time is not an issue as TRT docs prescribe HCG to men for years on end.
