I know a lot of people will cook most of their food one day a week and then just freeze/refrigerate everything for easy cooking later.

I would be very grateful if some of you could post your favourite recipes.

Thanks.

If you have a BBQ you can rotate between Burgers, Flank Steaks, Tri-tip roasts, Sirloin steaks, pork sausages, elk sausages, chicken breasts, chicken thighs, etc.

The foreman grill is the best investment to make, and they are pretty cheap right now. Grab a box of frozen chicken breasts, thaw them out and grill them. Allow them to cool and place them in a zip-lock freezer bag.

Next go to costco and pick up some frozen stir-fry veggies, (a bag is about 10 bucks and it should last you the week).

When you are ready to go, heat up a wok with some PAM, and saute 2 cloves of garlic and 1 small onion.

Toss in a couple handfulls of the veggies, and however much chicken as you want.

Start stir frying.

Add a little low-sugar soy and some oyster-flavored sauce (about 1 tablespoon), heat through and you are good to go.

Serve with white or brown rice.

All of this should take you about 3 minutes with all the pre-prepared food.

I usually make extra so that I have lunch for the next day.

You can do:

2 cups brown long grain rice
1kg lean ground beef with taco seasoning
500ml fat free cottage cheese

If you're okay with condiments, throw some ketchup or salsa on there mmm mmmm

Chili with beans, extra lean ground beef, onions, mushrooms, corn with spices (chili powder, cumin, oregano).

Lentils/brown rice with ground beef/chicken with onions and peppers seasoned with curry.
