Alright, im going to be going away to basic training very soon, in a matter of weeks.... I knew I was going but wasnt sure when, so I had acquired some tbol and was going to cycle just tbol at 60mg a day to cut a bit down before I left. Well I started day 3 today when I get the call that im leaving in a few weeks. Obviously I cannot take it with me, and I would be leaving in the middle of this cycle, thus if I continued I would not have time for any pct or even to finish my bottles. SO my predictament now, is weather to stop right now at day 3. Resume after basic training. What kind of trouble am I looking at if I stopped right now, How much pct do I need to do? ect.

Related question is, while I am at basic training should I try to be fighting the weightloss that will happen naturally from running 5km every morning at 530am, or should I stick to some sort of cutting diet and go with the flow? Im not sure how much access ill have to an actual weight room there, I know alot of people go in big and strong and come out thin pricks.. I want to stay in a good physique... any ideas or thoughts?

bring the tbol with you. put it in a tylenol bottle or something.

Then have someone mail you some nolva/clomid. Unless you are back by then.

I was thinking of that but if I got caught I think I would have more problems to worry about than just weight loss haha

i dont see how you will get caught. better yet, go and buy the most abstract supplement you can find in a capsul form so nobody will know what colour or shape its supposed to look like at all. empty out your weird pointless supplement and bring your tbol along for the ride. problem solved. :)

I would go with the flow. You don`t want to stand out too much physique wise for obvious reasons. If anything, I`d sneak in caffein pills, tyrosine stuff like that to give a mental edge. Even then, you`re playing with fire. I talked to a guy very recently who completed basics and he can`t beleive I was questoning how hard it is physically. The 5 k`s you do in the morning is suited for people of all physical levels and the "running" they do he told me is so slow, you could walk faster. Because you alrady train he told me, pysically wise it is a comlete joke. I think their standard for push ups is like 12 to pass and 4 pull ups. Something like that, very easy.

Also if you do good, after x amount of weeks they may let you leave on the week ends meaning you can do some major refeeding to get you through the week. He did tell me you`re allowed a box where you can put personals in and they can`t go in that box. I`d bring some high calorie drinks and get them in whenever you can. He also told me there is alot of just sitting around, like say the course starts at 9:00 am, it always starts late. So guys are just standing around smoking cigarettes and drinking coffee. I can`t remember if that was for basics or for the training course you will follow after basics.

The worst part of the training he told me is when you`re in the field for like 5 days. That`s when the advils will come in handy. That`s why instead of putting t-bol in there, just keep the advils! They will be a God send because they make you walk all day while practicing survival skills. That part will absolutely suck. The toughest part of basics for someone like us would be the lack of sleep and food.

One more thing, bulk up like a mother ****er food wise for the next 3 weeks. Tex has an awesome weight gain formula in another thread that should do the trick.

thanks alot rich that is GREAT info exactly the stuff i was looking for... I heard there is a week called "sleep deprivation week", sounds like a nightmare to me haha... I think partly I am just nervous going away for a long period of time and not being able to get into the gym... u recommend dropped the tbol right now before its too late?

Well if you`re using t-bol to cut, I would ask you why are you trying to cut before leaving, when you know you`ll be loosing weight there? From what I know using an oral for that short period of time shouldn`t cause serious shut down, but then again why bother if the you don`t have the time to use it properly?

If you really wanted to use anabolics before leaving, I`d load up on the longest ester of test you can find. I don`t know the name of it and most likey is hard to get but there is a test on the market that stays at high levels for months at a time. Even if you can`t find that one, enanthate or cyp would do the trick. And if you`re allowed off the base say at week 4, you could load up again. But that`s just guessing and if you can`t leave base for some reason you may begin to crash because the ester will have cleard itself with no pct gear in sight. Then you`re in a field for 5 days with no food or sleep... That would be hell and wouldn`t risk it.

Just get some of those 'sealed for your protection' caps, throw your requirements in some supplement bottles and re-seal. They wont open them.

I'd just stop it now @ day 3. You won't need PCT after 3 days.

I wouldn't want to be running a PCT while at basic.

Bingo bango bongo. . after seeing what those guys go through, I'd wanna be on the T-Bol the whole time, you'd probably end up nice n ripped by the end of it as you'd lose more fat instead of muscle. . . I've seen guys drop 20lbs on that course. . .

Trust me, muscle loss will be the last of your worries when you're over there. I don't know if you're doing officer or ncm basic. If you're doing ncm, kick your privacy goodbye, so forget about gear for the time being. If you're doing office, you'll have your own room, so you could risk it, but I personally wouldn't advise it. Just resume once you're done.

I really don`t think it`s worth getting caught with any steroids. Although unlikely to happen just think how you will be upset with yourself the rest of your life when you could have waited a mere 8 weeks... Plus that could go on your record and the military aren`t the only employers in the world with an anti steroid attitude. I don`t know your personality, but I`d be nervous just carrying them on me or getting caught with them while in basic.

Good luck. It can be fun, depending on who your instructors are...

Basic is a joke. I've been on both ends (recruit and instructor...and it seems to be more difficult for the instructor now what with "human rights" )and it gets progressively easier every year as we need more recruits to make up for the rate of attrition.

If you are somewhat in shape, you will be fine.

As for gear, it's not worth the risk. You are supposed to report the meds that you are on which are prescribed and show them to the staff. You could attempt to hide the pills and pass them off as a multi or otc painkiller, but keep in mind that the staff aren't dumbasses either and seeing as some (combat arms types) will recognize certain pills (caps are harder to id, but tabs can be a giveaway). As far as I know, you can keep your tylenol and advil with you (back in my day, you had to go ask for it, or it had to be given to you by the MIR and then you had to have a medical chit in order to take it).

In terms of eating enough...you get plenty at the mess hall, and the field rations are designed to fight off catabolism (just don't expect to shit properly for weeks after).

The sleep dep isn't that bad. If you've pull all nighters during final, then you should have a pretty good idea what to expect.

Good luck.
