i'm trying to eat clean and i'm having trouble gaining weight so i was thinking about measuring out 100ml of olive oil ED and drinking through the day. so basically about 1000 calories worth of oil ED plus all my other food.

has anyone tried this? how did it work out for you?

if you're gonna do that, make sure you work it so that it's not near any high carb meals.

While I'm not on a strict diet, per say, I have taken three doses of 30ml olive oil during the day. One in the morning with a shake...50grams prote, and 50grams carbs from oats...the same thing in the evening. 30mls along with broccoli slash balsamic vinegar in the morning during class two meals before a workout. Carb meal PWO then no oils for six hrs after.

I'm 5'9", 205 and running 3500-4000 cals a day and barely maintaining weight...

This will be no more as trying cutting diet starting today, but it is def a good idea. Get your hands on some Flax Oil instead if you got the $grease$

Not too sure about drinking it like that, but adding a tbsp or two to each meal is a start. When I used to work with DC he'd have me do that and it helped break through weight plateaus.

Also you mention you eat a pound of ground beef in one meal, is that cooked or raw weight?

Another option is adding a cheat meal in replacement of one of your regular daily meals.

Why don't you try to eat some sort of nuts (peanuts/cashews/macadamia's etc)? As for the olive oil I would use coconut oil instead. Taking in more omega 6 than is necessary. Also make sure you take enough omega 3 as well.
