I am looking into a bulk order of hemp seeds. If you want to get in on it PM me.
I am in Ontario. I believe a 5lb pail retails for $27. The more I order the cheaper it will be for everyone. These seeds are whole, so they still have the husk for extra fibre. Here is a link to the nutritional info. http://www.chii.ca/hempseed.html

I swear I saw hemp seed at bulk barn. I'm pretty sure it was cheaper than that.

i question the quality of bulk barn goods.....especially when dealing with higher quality food items such as hemp, and related seeds / oils

For what it's worth these are certified organic.

how do you take it? grind it up and add to food shakes? or just chew up the seeds and swallow

I have never taken them but I am going to grind them up in a coffee grinder and add them to may shakes instead of psyllium. You can get toasted ones to eat like other seeds or nuts.

lol no. i took some heat for posting nutritional info on them on MN a while back and was called a hippy and tree hugger and other sorts. but they work well at shrinking your waistband and keeping you feeling full. keep on killing trees bro, who needs trees anyway?

Got a question, how much K does a guy have to spread around before i can give you some more? I'm spreading it and spreading it, yet it's just not enough!!

LOL, that made me laugh. this place has a great crowd most of the time. i wonder this myself though, i find that i must "spread it around". i feel like i am though....weird...

Our local health food store had them and then stopped selling it. I love them..adding them into my oats in the morning.

Seems he found MOLD in a few shipments and was looking for a different supplier.

Not yet. I have contacted the guy again and have not heard back. I will put some pressure on him.

do they taste good?? are they roasted?

the nutritional profile looks pretty good IMO i wouldn't mind trying them to increase the fiber content in my diet...
