That's so wrong... I don't think cannabis is on the olympics performance enhancement drugs list, nor has it helped him win in any way, so why would anyone think his activities are of any regards to them?

Alcohol is clearly way worse for the individual and society.

I think he really wishes that loosing all of his sponsors was the worst he would face, the fact is that the media is going to have a field trip on his case, and all of those: "goodies" will make him stand out as though he just got caught giving one of the judges a blow job.

I highly doubt that green is tested for at all, but it sure is an illegal "green" :D :D

This is so true!! I always prefered a logging camp filled with pot heads over drinkers any day of the week!! Yet if the smokers got caught by the camp managers they were fired, but when they drank all night and kept the rest of us awake that was OK. I used to just kring when the plane came in with a booze run..

The Olympics check for weed. Remember Ross Rebagliati (sp?). Tried stripping his snowboarding gold medal cause he tested positive for a trace amount of THC. A performance enhancing drug according to the IOC.

"After winning the gold, he was found to have marijuana in his circulatory system and he was automatically disqualified. This decision was eventually overturned, largely on the basis that marijuana is not a performance-enhancing drug, and Rebagliati was given back the medal."
