I think the flabby ****er should cut wieght and move to LHW and get over himself and fight in the UFC. Personally I think he's scared to fight in the top MMA promotion in the world, and knows Dana White won't satisfy his ego with healthy paychecks he doesn't deserve. Brock Lesnar would maul him like an ethiopian on a crackerjack, so thats not even a fight that would make anyones palms sweaty. He needs to prove his worth as a fighter in the UFC, not how many zero's in his paycheck by other lesser organizations.

the last 2 guys he's fought have been paid alot more than he was. I think I read Arlovski was paid $1,250,000 to Fedor's $200,000.

But Fedor gets a cut of the PPV, and that worth a whole lot more.

I don't see any of those guys potentially knocking out Fedor. You'll need an extremely hard/heavy puncher like Melvin Manhoef to do the job.

Someone who has a granite chin, and good head movement, will have a good chance against Fedor, and I still think Lesnar would eat him alive. Really sucks that Arlovski could get knocked out with a pillow, cause he has sick power, speed, and agility, to be the top heavywieght in the world.

stop talking out your ass please. The reason he doesn't fight in the UFC is because Dana won't give him a deal he deserves. Fedors manager has stated that the contracts offered to him by the UFC have all stated that he would be under contract to defend his title indefinitely; which means he would have to lose a fight before he could get out of his contract.

Fedor makes far more cash fighting for other organizations (after accounting for his ppv pull, as stated above) and has already proven he can destroy the best of the best.

This is a man who destroyed the best fighters in the world at their roided best (PRIDE). And don't give me that "pride fighters often lose in the ufc". They lose because for most it's the first time in years they've fought without gear.

He's the greatest of all time and to say he's scared and undeserving of a massive paycheck is simply foolish.

P.S. I voted for Brock. I think he's the only guy in MMA who even stands a chance.

Gonzaga could maybe pull it off. Maybe.

All Dana White is good at is underpaying great fighters. Arvloski deserves another shot.

I voted for Josh Barnett. He's an overall decent fighter with a good chin (even though he got clocked good by Pedro). But he's pulled out many wins over good fighters. I think Brock would get submitted easily by Fedor. But I would think Fedor would like to make a statement and KO Brock instead. It'll never happen though as they will never fight.

exactly. Dana White wants slaves, not fighters.

The contract that we were presented with by the UFC was simply impossible, couldn't be signed -- I couldn't leave. If I won, I had to fight eight times in two years. If I lost one fight, then the UFC had the right to rip up the contract. At the conclusion of the contract, if I am undefeated, then it automatically extends for an as yet unspecified period of time, though for the same compensation.

"Basically I can't leave undefeated. I can't give interviews, appear in films or advertising. I don't have the right to do anything without the UFC's agreement. I could do nothing without the OK from the UFC. I didn't have the right to compete in combat sambo competition. It's my national sport. It's the Russian sport, which in his time our president competed in, and I no longer have the right to do so. There were many such clauses; the contract was 18 pages in length.
It was written in such a way that I had absolutely no rights while the UFC could at any moment, if something didn't suit them, tear up the agreement. We worked with lawyers who told us that it was patently impossible to sign such a document."
-Fedor Emelianenko

Can't leave undefeated, cant' give interviews, can't do films, can't do Sambo tournaments; income stays regardless of his wins, 8 fights in 2 years. etc.
GSP fought 5 times in 2 years, BJ fought 3 times in 2 years. (2007,2008)
And Fedor has to fight 8 times in 2 years??!!

Only a moron would sign this contract.
