Infection...

Ok, I'm pretty sure I got an infection from the stuff I'm taking. I was just wondering if there is a way to sterilize a bottle of gear once its been poked. I've heard you can put in the oven but how do you keep the pressure from bursting the bottle? Any info would be appreciated.

Best bet is to refilter if you're really worried.

No, not yet. I'm hoping the swelling is going to go down soon and it isn't an infection. It's just weird because I got on this gear after using some other stuff and I never got this kind of reaction from the other gear. Each time I took a shot of this it got swollen and hurt like hell, with each time getting progressively worse. The only other thing I can think of is that I've been hitting my glutes too often. I've been hitting each glute about once every 8 days. Is that too much?

I don't really know too much about that stuff, but the box says the BA content is 2%.

Well IMO, there is always a risk when injecting anything from ANY UG lab, no matter how "Good" they are, and ANYONE who does so, has chosen to accept that risk.

All I was saying is that I can't afford to keep buying stuff from different labs that everyone says is "Good" or "Better", and then finding out that it's not. Besides, this particular lab's gear is supposed to be "good" according to what I've read on this site.

Well I think the swelling has gone down slightly, but yesterday and the day before it kinda looked like I injected synthol in my ass lol!
The reason I was thinking infection, was because I talked to my friend who had gotten an infection from sticking gear in his bicep before and I asked him what it felt like. He said the muscle felt really tight like the skin was going to rip open. Whenever I sit down and put too much weight on it, that's exactly what it feels like too. He also said the area got red. So I checked the site, and noticed it was a little bit red. The other reason is because of the way the pain comes on. It doesn't seem to come on really bad the first day, but it's usually 2 days after the shot that it really hurts, and then the 3rd and 4th day it gets worse, progressively.

advil is great for swelling . try that . check your temp if its normal odds are its not infection. keep an eye on size of redness. when in doubt see doc

personely i never tryed xxx but its pretty new on the street heard good thing about it! But theres much more reliable labs that been around for long time and have very good feedback(across the country)like xxx, xxx, xxx...Im pretty sure you dont have an infection because by now you would know! And just because i go at 140mph on a bike and i know im taking a risk of having an accident does not mean i dont need to wear a helmet! Anyway just be carefull :(

im running xxx cyp and deca300 now and if i shoot to fast i get the cough. i think they might have high ba in a certain batch. still happy with there products overall. also noticed a brown spot on my glute today where i injected a few days ago but no pain

I think your right You with the caught and bottle booze with is glutes BA must be too high !

hey bud, he little brown spot on the glute sounds like bruising, and the fact that you got a cough means you likely hit a vein, which also explains the bruising, just a bit of blood there under the skin most likely. :)

Well when I got up today the swelling and pain was only about half of what it was yesterday. Seems to have been getting better throughout the day too. After I noticed yesterday that it had improved a bit I figured it was probably not an infection so I did a delt shot last night. It's a bit sore but not any more than should be expected. The real test will be to see how it feels tommorrow.

Now if it is the BA content that is too strong, is there anything that you can cut it with to reduce the pain and swelling?

Cough? You mean like a literal cough? I've never heard of this before. How can getting a shot make you cough?

Yeah, its a reaction to the gear getting in a vien. you get a sudden cough that lasts a couple minutes then i feel like shit for a couple days. I sometimes rush injects so i guess i pay for my impatience.

If the BA is at 2% then that shouldn't be too high, heck i remember in the bad ol' days of IP and his 10%, that packed a punch! lol.

On the bright side it doesn't sound like an injfection, just some sort of reaction to something! Could be the ester of the gear, or maybe that batch did get a bit more BA afterall! :)

oh, and you could try cutting it with sterile oil or EQ. :) Some recommend heating it to boil off the excess BA if you feel that is infact your sensitivity. Also bro, im hearing about 5% of guys just react badly to EO, while most find it better, some can't use it as well. :(

The oil may have came out of IM and went SubQ inflaming yor tendons. I had this happen to me once, couldn't walk for 2 days. From then on I stopped injecting into the quads and stuck with the glutes.
