I just got my bloodwork back after a 3 month cycle. The bloodwork was done 1 month after my last shot. my eGFR was 52, and creatinine was 132. This means my kidneys were stressed. A follow up is ordered which will show if its still low. If so, then I need to see a kidney specialist. If values consistently stay this low I am in the middle stage of Chronic Kidney Disease. Kidneys dont regenerate like the liver can.
My question is .. is this a fairly normal occurance after a moderate cycle? Has anyone else experienced this scare?
My 3 month cycle consisted of 750mg test, 350mg TrenA (3.5 weeks x2), 300mg Deca, and 40mg dbol (3 weeks), 50mg drol (3 weeks). PCT consisted of : 250mcg HCG every 2 days last 3 weeks of cycle + 2 weeks after. 25mg aromasin 2 weeks after last inj for 3 weeks. 25mg nolva for 2 weeks, 2 weeks after last inj.
I also have the test levels of a 100 year old man. But those will come back I hope.

How long did you take off the gym before the blood work was done and were you well hydrated?

Yes, I forgot to mention that. I took off exactly 48 hours at the doctors request - and I am 90% sure I did not take my creatine drink before the bloodwork.
I dont really know how well hydrated I was. I wasnt thirsty anyways at the time.
I have been told to drink alot of water, stay off everything (I am anyways) and even drink a little cranberry juice before my next test.

Also if you really want a true creatinine reading, you should stop eating meat 7 days before the test. Kinda tough in our world, but even 3 days would be good.
I had blood work done before my last cycle and my creatinine levels were 105 ( with 120 being the high end of the reference ) so I was ok. Started my new cycle and got a massive allergic reaction to my gear. EO was the culprit. Went to ER and creatinine was now 125. So over the high end. Kidneys were obviously under stress. I ran two different herbal products ( type of kidney cleanse ) and getting my test done again in a few weeks. I'll let you know how it works.
Not sure what the rules are posting nutritional sites on here, so I PM'd you the products. They are dirt cheap and worth a try. Allot of people have reported significant drops in values using them.
Good luck,
Giannos

Thanks, I'll have a look at those.
I also found information regarding creatine monohydrate supplementation can affect serum creatinine:

I hope this is the culprit!

Giannos post them up.
I usually take a full week or so off the gym and stop all supplements at that time for a more accurate reading.
