Man i thought i had it this time... Allmax Isoflex, allmax micronized german creatine, allmax micronized japanese glutamine, flax seed oil are my shakes. I was good for a couple weeks, made awsome strength and size gains, then my stomach went straight south. My diet shouldnt have caused it, cause i know im good with those foods. Now if i have a shake it clears out my guts - i mean cramps, dashing to the bathroom 5x a day or more. Man it sucks. I dont know what my stomach can handle! Im prolly gonna go off for 2 weeks again, reset, and try some new supps. Maybe the Magnum line Quattro, some CEE. I think my body just wont accept creatine well, as this is the most common side effect. My doses were :

40 grams isoflex
5 grams creatine
5 grams glutamine
1 tbspn flax
400ml skim milk/water depending pre/post

I even went to 1 shake a day. Nope, runs like crazy with bad cramps. I dont know what to to anymore.... argh

It's the oil.

Stop putting oil in the shakes.

Why would you say its the oil? Ill give it a shot, just wondering why flax would affect me like that...

Could also be the milk.

I'd drop the oil first.

Also, if post workout... never mix carbs (milk) and fat (flax).

i forgot to mention... pre is the oil/milk/whey/creatine/glutamine and post is water/whey/creatine/glutamine/dex. I dont use oil/milk in post. I took a lactose test at the hospital and didnt seem to be intolerant also.

may not be lactose intolerant but could be sensitive to milk especially if you use as a pre-workout mix.

Experiment a little...

Stilll believe it's the oil

Thnx for the feedback, ill give the oil a shot first... and see. Ive read a little about milk sensetivities not having to do with lactose, but im not totally brushed up on it yet... I am a little curious as to why it would be a problem specifically before a workout, if you know something about that do tell! other than that im gonna drop the oil for now and report back in about a week

drop the oil and the creatine. Just use one at a time, add in a new supp every 2-3 days, then u can assess what is causing the problem.

This may be a little out of left field but do you drink a lot of coffee? I tend to have the exact problem you have when I drink too much of the stuff.

ya i drink coffee, and the usual symptom is maybe gives me the urge to go to the bathroom once about an hour later or so. Not even close to as bad as this. Cramps and runs all day.

Drop the creatine mono...try another form... Creatine ethyl ester and Kre-akalin are good choices... i know lots of people who get digestive problems and diarrhea with creatine mono no matter how micronized it is or where it's from....

yea im hearing and reading a LOT of ppl have digestive issues with mono... im going to try the CEE next. For a week im just leaving out the oil to see... so far im only 1 day in and my last shake minus the oil hasnt caused to much problem except bloat and and a little discomfort... i think the combination of the oil and the mono really got me...

i second the mono as being the cause of this issue. despite most members on here pushing it as the best form of creatine, i simply do not agree. i get ZERO sides or stomach discomfort from CEE or alkaline versions, with the same gains I would get from a mono.

I had similiar issues with the bathroom, I switch CEE for KRE and the stomach issues went away.

Just wear a diaper when you workout. Cheap weigh does it to me. Never heard that about creatine, thanks for the info, will have to keep that in mind if I decide to try out creatine.

nah. I just don't think it would produce any real results.

I'm not a big supplement guy in general (except mega dosing BCAAs).

For those using and getting results... great for you guys!

If it was me it would be the protein. I bought a few tubs of the same allmax and I was shitting throught the eye of a needle at 50 paces which is odd because I've got iron guts and can eat just about anything. This was first time this has happened to me. I finished it and got different protein and was fine. I saw the allmax shit on sale again a few months later and bought having forgot it was the same stuff that wore out my asshole and went through the same shit....literally.

creatine for me is very strong and produces undeniable gains in size/strength in a short period of time. I believe that i can get away with 3 grams a day. People all have different sensitivities. If you dont want to use it tho, thats totally fine.

On a side note, i dropped the oil, only use isoflex, creatine and dex now and my stomach seems to be settling... however i wont make a judgement until i am a full week or 2 into it. It is very possible i was reactine to the flax oil, ive just never suspected it. After some research, sure enough, it can cause the runs. I was also getting itchy eyes and a slight redness under my eyes. That is all going away too... could have been an allergy reaction or a "food sensitivity". Im learning a lot about this now.. very interesting.

As for cheap whey, i think the cheaper it is (and more junk mixed in) the worse it is for anybody. Cheap whey gives my crazy gas, and if i take lots, the runs.

Will keep posting progress here for anyone who is experiencing some of these symptoms.

I just discovered that I can't stomach glutamine and creatine monohydrate. Right now I tried CEE and it works fine, but I badly want to throw up after taking just glutamine or monohydrate. I tried mixing them with dextrose - same thing. By the process of elimination, currently I can stomach the following, first thing in the morning:

5g BCAA
4G beta-alanine
5g CEE creatine

I'll try kre-alkalyn creatine next instead of CEE (after I finish the tub of CEE). Glutamine started helping with recovery and muscle, but then all of the sudden I started throwing up after taking it... weird.

Any ideas on the glutamine? Should I try a different brand? Also, how many grams and servings of CEE I should consume per day?

Hey Drummer, just a random thought: Hemp Oil has similar properties as Flax Oil, so you might want to check that out.
