Anyone remember Manfred Hoeberl, the huge strongman who gained popularity in the early 90's because of his massive arms? I remember seeing him in magazines and was awestruck by his incredible arm size. At that time, I'd never even heard of synthol so I didn't think his arms could be "unnatural" in any way. Seeing all the pics out there of all these synthol induced arms reminded me of him, so I decided to do a bit of research to see if his arms could have been the result of synthol. The first thing I looked up was to try and see if his arms were actually measured to prove his claimed measurement. It's interesting as he talks about all the exagerated claims by bodybuilders. He measured Manfred's arm cold first, and it turned out to be a whopping 25 3/4"!! So then I decided to see when synthol came on the market. I found this page, http://www.answers.com/topic/site-enhancement-oil ,which states synthol was invented in 1996. Joe roark measured Manfred's arm in 1993. So if Manfred was injecting anything in his arms to enhance their size, it wasn't synthol. I'm not sure how well Esiclene (sp?) works, but I suppose he could've used that.
