i read somewhere that youre supposed to throw it out 28 days after it's opened. is that true or is it bunk??

Its fine. I've had shit in the fridge for a year and used it was perfectly fine.

whoever says that it goes bad after 28 days is misinformed, insulin has a preservative inside of it, its good until the exp date on the vial/box.

either way, if you are going to do insulin, i would not recommend doing it for longer then a month at a time, so if you do get humalog which only costs about $40/10ml vial, its still a good buy if you are doing 10iu/day for a month..

i didnt say take all their supply hahahha, but i have a friend that gives some of his insulin away, he never has any problem getting more at the pharmacy.
