This will be my second attempt at a strict diet to try and reduce my bf% or as I like to call it get rid of my moon face. After this has been achieved I will start adding oatmeal to my meals before noon.

I'm going to attempt to follow through with Dave Palumbo's diet.

My current stats (11/1/09):
5'11 and change
220 lbs
15% bf (according to plastic calipers)

My supplements:
RevXP - 8 pills/day
Tribulus Extract- 3000mg pre workout, 3000mg pre bed
Vitamin C - 400mg wake up, 400 pre workout
Vitamin E - 500mg pre workout
I3C - 600mg wake up, 400mg pre workout
Glutamine - 15grams during workout
CoQ10 - 160mg pre workout
Liv52 - 2 pills wake up, 2 pills mid day
NO Shotgun - 1/3 scoop pre workout
Black Powder - 1/2 scoop pre workout
BIG - 1 scoop post workout

My goal is to not drop below 200lbs and have a noticable reduction in face fat. Depending on how the diet progresses and what my bloodwork shows I may run 40mg tbol/day for 6 weeks.

I will be following the food types outlined in the diet strictly, but I want to eat every 2.5-3 hrs, so the # of meals may increase from 6.

If you guys have any questions/suggestions/advice they are all welcome!! :D

Face - still fat

Today wasn't too bad. Had more energy because of the decreased carb intake I feel. The RevXP helped too. I definitely felt cravings for carbs though, especially at lunch when my coworkers were munching on subway.

My workout today was arm day, my favorite :). My arms were looking jacked up PWO, probably around 18-18.5", almost like I was full of carbs or something (thank you black powder), but I had some serious dizziness issues. Pretty much after every set I felt like throwing up, but luckily I didn’t. I don't know how im gonna deal with this on chest/back day, I think I will have to decrease the pre workout stimulants though.

I did notice some mood change issues, especially when this mother****ing old paki/indian/brown whatever bitch cut in line at the gas station..

Looking forward to day 2.

wowww what is happening to meeee. i can't really fathom how i dropped that much weight over 1 day/night. i mean, i know i ate a lot but i didnt think i was carrying around so much bloat. hopefully this downward spiral doesnt continue in to the low 200's.

my body feels 'lighter' and my clothes feel a tad looser on me which im not necessarily happy about but i know its part of the process

i was going to do ab work to day but i decided to take the day off and rest to see how bad the cravings will be. they were ok except for at lunch i was super super hunrgy even though i had a steak and a salad.

i am very happy with the results on my face though. my friends commented on how much difference there is between now and just 3 days ago. **** my shitty genetics.

tomorrow morning i am going to get my blood work, im nervous :S

well it appears that the significant weight drop was not going to continue, which i am glad about. Face on the other hand is still chubbers.

I went to get my bloodwork done today, it was weird I was kindof excited to get the needle, didn’t hurt at all except for when she pulled it out..kindof weird.

Cravings today were pretty bad. At lunch was not too horrible but at night time all I could think about was food. Especially after my workout I was in the mall foodcourt with my buddy..all I wanted to do was rape the sushi stand. I went to bed around 10:30 after drinking 250ml of eggwhites.

Its funny I had to go to costco 2ce now and buy extra eggs cause im going through them so fast. I've been eating dill pickles with my eggs to give it some flavor, the label says they literally have nothing in them, so I hope that its not messing up the process.

The one thing that ive really noticed is how much endurance I have lost. Before workouts I usually ate a big bowl of whole weat pasta/spagetti, but now I have a steak and plain lettuce. The drop in endurance is very noticeable, I was still pushing the same weight but getting the reps in was tough. Also, my right elbow seems to not have healed at all and hurts a lot. I feel like im going to have to use a tensor bandage or something, I know for sure that if I go in the doc is going to tell me to stop working out, and right now I cant do that. Im going to try to adjust my excercises to try to alleviate the pressure put on that joint, so no more DB curls for now as I feel that’s the most damaging one.

As for pre workout stimulants instead of taking NoShotgun I only took 1 scoop of Black Powder and added some monohydrate, definate reduction in nausia. I guess that stuff is packed full of stimulants.

Ok so I guess eating salty cured meat at night makes you retain water, or at least that’s what im seeing. The cravings today were manageable, altho if I try really really hard I can taste shawarma haha hunger is amazing for the imagination. I have been seeing a decrease in the number of times I go #2, so I'll be picking up some metamucil to drink with my PWO protein. My irritability seems to have decreased, I didn’t find myself freaking out about anything.

Also I finally picked up some Hawthorne Extract. It was pretty cheap as well. Mixing 150mg extrac with 160mg CoQ 10 really REALLY helps with the BP while excercising. To test this I took 3/4 scoop of NoShotgun (remember the first day it almost made me puke) and honestly I felt fine, and my heart rate dropped pretty fast after every set.

Today was shoulder day. Due to my elbow injury I limited myself to 2 excercises which don’t put too much strain on the joint with about 6-7 sets each, mixing in reps till faliure and static holds to really burn out the muscle. Endurance and strengh were fine. Elbow still felt like it wanted to explode, it only does that when I get a pump going in my arms though. I'm going to see if I can make an appointment at the clinic because they have a xray unit and we try to see if there is a problem (which I doubt but better careful than sorry).

All my clothes feel baggy now, especially my pants. Over the past 6 months I developed quite the ghetto booty (which has been pointed out to me by various friends) so I've had to buy pants with a bigger waistline.. Well now these pants are getting baggy. I've probably lost 1/2-3/4 inch from arms shoulders and legs.

I've decided that if my bloodwork results next week are g2g, I will be running Var for 40mg/ed. I was going to run tbol but I feel that the var will be better for my elbow and retaining strengh and leaning me out.

Tomorrow is leg day. We'll see how many reps with 3 plates I can do.

I've stopped noticing any difference in my body composition. If there is, its very minimal. Face is still round, esp in the morning, but it looses puffiniess throughout the day.

One thing i really enjoy aobut RevXP (or other stimulants) is they make the day go by soooo fast. My job is very mundane and boring, and i usually want to staple random documents to the side of my head by the end of the day, but today time just flew by :D.

The food cravings were the same today as every day. I really feel like the revXP is contributing to it (its supposed to increase rate of metabolism). Its not uncontrollable but i find myself starving after 2hrs, and i usually cant make it an extra 30 mins.

My energy levels during the workout have improved .Today was squat day so no stimulants pre workout (just 1 teaspoon of monohyrdate), otherwise i might have a heart attack. Doing squats felt weird. Usually i go into it with way more confidence: the bar feels lighter, the weights look smaller, i tell myself "you've squatted 315 at least 300 times by now, this is nothing, dont be a fag". Today i felt.. small...compared to the bar. I found that i still had the strenght in my quads to push out the reps (1 warmup set with 2 plates, and then 4 work sets with 3 plates, each till fail) but i didnt have the explosive power i usually do. I still had a good pump going at the end of the excercise but i just miss being carbed up so much :`(.

Oh and then i got really irritated cause as i was leaving my house i got distracted and left my post-worout protein on the table. Then i had to race home after the gym and chug that shit down asap.

For dinner ate around 350 grams of atlantic skinless salmon. I know thats bigger than the portion sizes in the diet, but god damn i was so hungry...

I've already started thinking about my carb up day, 7 days away. All u can eat sushi here i come :D

Tomorrow is arm day, my fav day of the week!!!!!!

for my carb up days I hit up sushi and broadway for breakfast. God they have the best ****ing homefries!!!! lol

When I diet I switch to smith machine squats. My legs are big enough and when dieting it's not about how much weight I can lift it's about how much muscle I can recruit into the lift. Smith machine takes all the other elements out of it and put majority of the load squarely on the quads.

Hmm, still not seeing any changes in face structure. The only place i can kindof see a difference now is my forearms, which are mostly vascular throughout the day. I cannot tell if there was any reduction in belly fat.

The cravings were ok today, other than after my workout. I had a big ass steak from Costco and i "cheated" with 1 slice of bologna and a pickle, altho the balogna has like 1% carb or something but its high in sodium.

Today was arm day so i took 2 scoops of Black Powder. The dizziness wasnt a factor as my vasoexpanding cocktail takes care of that now. I opted for more sets with less weight, seeing as my elbow seems to have improved and i dont want to go back to square one. I was a dissapointed PWO though, usually if im carbed up my arms look monstrous. No vascularity, but god damn are they big. Today, not so much....... :(

Tomorrow is rest day.

Today was my day off from the gym, just took it easy, played some COD-WAW and watched the cardinals game. I didn’t take any RevXP and my hunger pangs were pretty much nonexistent. That is unless someone gets into my car eating a double whopper sandwich..mother****er...
There is no reduction in face fat, quite the opposite infact now it looks puffier or maybe im just going crazy. My abs on the other hand is showing definite signs of improvement, you can now clearly see the top 4 "bumps" in my stomach without me flexing.

My elbow also seems to have improved, im very glad i didn’t kill it on arm day.

left shoulder - injured

mother****er.

todays workout started out great. felt energetic, confidence, i just wanted to kill it. halfway though i started doing machine flys, and at the end of my first set i relaxed my left shoulder too early, and my arm left the socket . the machine was pressing on it because of a bigger ROM... i felt my shoulder dislocate but strangly it didnt hurt it just tingled, then as i got my arm out from under the machine i felt the muscles pull the bone back into place, which was cool

...now i have pain when i try to rotate it completley...

two years ago i bailed skiing and severely severely dislocated the same shoulder...being the big, teary eyed boy i am i didnt go to the medic shack but walked around and finally after about half our it popped back in on its own...chronic pain for 3 months after, it was one month before i could move my arm at all

so im going to take a week break from lifting anything, i will keep logging my weight and face progress ed

when i get back on the gym it will be carb up day, ill be doing light weight for high reps just to get the muscles pumped up. i will also start some shoulder rehab and not go heavy for at least a month

Sounds like you have a very low carb diet,you should write out your diet.You get dizzy from a diet that is way to low in carb take it from me,after i see your diet bet you will need to up your carb just a bit.
Also you should get some basic ECA.
As for your injury you should go see a RMT for some deep tissue massage,i have a great guy here in town if you like to see him.

shoulder in a sling

So yes the shoulder is still ****ed. I have it in a sling now. I can move it around find and shrug, but as soon as any lateral raising movement involving the delt is involved i get shooting pain.As S-T suggested im going to have a visit with a RMT. I've been told it should literally minimize the recovery time, so i'm pretty excited to see what happends. I'm going to assume it will hurt tweaking my arm around so ill be taking some pain relief medication when i go.

i think im finally entering ketosis. my energy levels are stable, ive dropped some weight and my face is getting there. unfortunately so is the rest of my body. my quads are maybe 3/5ths of what they were at 220. ive also stopped taking any creatine. i expect at least 4 lbs of waterweight go with that.

20g whey
5 omega 3 eggs
2 dill pickles (no sugar)

lunch
2 chicken breasts
bowl of romaine lettuce

4-5 times a day
1tbsp natty pb
40-50g whey
----

tomorrow night im going to have my first cheat meal after 10 days of no carbs.

What has worked for me when on a no-carb diet is to take ECA a half hour before my cardio on empty stomach.
