View Full Version : Cutting while on - How much can it change?

Just wondering what everyone's thoughts on this are. The standard way to diet is to go 500 calories below your maint cals which will average out to about a lb/week. How further have you all been able to push it while on as test is supposed to be help and prevent some of the muscle loss while in a catabolic state.

muscle loss in inevitable when dieting and burning up cals in cardio.

How much depends on how fast you cut the weight. If you take a month to lose 5 pounds of fat, vs 5 months... big difference on muscle atrophy

i think the key is to never let yourself get too fat, even when bulking.

you wont lose much muscle while on these 2 but you will lose fat, you might even put on a little muscle
