Ive been sick and out of the gym for the last 3 or so weeks. I now look (even more) like Skeletor.

So i need to ramp up the calories and hit the gym again. I usually eat pretty clean but would like to re-visit the idea of eating for mass. Not just gross lumpy-dumpty-dump mass, but upping the calories. Any new ideas our general adice out there that i might have missed in the past?

Also, im a student so budget is a bit of a issue....

Peanut butter is cheap, delicious, relatively high in protein, and low carb. Weight gainer shakes actually are cost effectiv if you use 1/2 or 2/3 the recommended serving for flavour and add in extra peanut butter and oatmeal for more carbs and protein. Lean ground beef is pretty cheap and tastes pretty good with almost everything. Put hot sauce on everything too. Im a student as well, and I consider hot sauce its own food group I use so much. Fruit is relatively cheap depending on where you get it and also makes an excellent addition to shakes for extra cals. Those tips alone are more than enough if you're willing to eat a lot of the same thing. I eat the same thing pretty much every day, but Im so used to it, it doesnt bother me anymore. Being a student and a body builder is very difficult bro, but if you stick through it you will be a highly motivated and disciplined adult. This is something that employers look for especially. Good luck brother :)
