i heard throught the grapevine that a local had a "one of a kind custom built machine" for sale so i went and had a look expecting to find a bunch of catalog parts bolted together to make a wobbly excuse for a bike.

less than 400 miles on it, custom built, 240 rear, 140horse ultima, open primary, 6 speed etc etc etc

he is asking less than half what it cost to build, he has had it 4 years and he is to short for it and in his words "this thing scares me"

should i buy it??

Bro, make sure it is insurable. I ended up buying a new Harley Night Train and customized it because every time I looked at a home-built custom bike insuring it was either impossible or under appraised.

BTW, my wife (not my accountant) wanted to put a hit on me after spending as much as I did (and still do) on my bike ;)
