I have done a bit of research online and I have found dozens of websites advocating different colon cleansing pills or related supplements. Im just wondering if anyone on here has actually had a real colonic (hydrotherapy style treatment)? If so did you notice any benefits or drawbacks from having the procedure? Would you recommend others try it for health or training benefits?

The reason I ask is that I eat A LOT of lean red meat and Im wondering if there is any validity to the ideas that it cloggs your intestines. I do eat quite a bit of fibre and use fibre supplements from time to time, as well as digestive enzymes.

Any useful feedback is appreciated...

Thanks

No

If your intestines are clogged you die, are you on your deadbed?

Colonics make people feel better immediately afterward due to a dilution of your blood due to water being absorbed from your colon. Kinda lightheadness I think. I think its good for butt sex (cleans thing out) so if that's your angle..well do what ya will.

i did a colon cleanse and couldn't finish the duration. It was too much shitting. And everytime not a good shit, but a baaaad shit. I stopped a week or two in.
Just going to maintain a healthy diet and go with it.

If you are in Toronto drop me a line that I can hook you up with a practitioner that can answer your questions.

Personally I have never done it but would consider as part of a bigger health protocol.
