Anyone ever cheap out and leave the larger gauge needle in the vial before? Instead of piercing the rubber stopper over and over again.
the only prob i see is with bacteria or other things getting in the needle once you've left it exposed overnight or for a period of days......you using 50ml vials or somethin?

We are heading into a recession! I read this on some board about someone doing this to reduce the chance of some rubber being injected into them. That
is about it and the fact that I just noticed all the pins I thought that were 20g are 90% 25g. Guess I can always plug the top up with a wine cork,I'd rub the thing with alcohol of course.

Wow, that's pretty damn cheap! That pin stuck there is just swarming with bacteria!?! Drawing pins are cheap! Why risk it? I guarantee that you do not want an abscess. I've seen a baseball-sized abscess on a quad before. They had to make about a 4" incision to drain it and had to leave it split open so that it could be cleaned. It was not a pretty site...

kidding.... i wouldnt be so concerned bugs would get into the vial,. but the needle leurlock thingy would be contaminated, thus putting bugs right into the barrel
3 months worth of needles is like..twenty bucks.

Needles are cheap. If you can't afford enough needles then how do you afford enough gear or even food to grow.

I read this on another board awhile back and was just wondering. I do order my needles although the old lady can get them from work if I needed her to. It does go to wonder how some will never take enough precautions.
