I really like that pro active 3.5% fat danone yogurt with the extra fiber, makes it thicker. I noticed there is 4 grams of protein per 100gr or one single serving in a cup. Would you guys count this protein in your daily totals? And what are you thoughts in general about yogurt? I`m not sure it`s as healthy as it`s touted to be. Maybe the plain unflavored but it tastes like shit. These days I sometimes eat 200 grams of yogurt post workout (second post workout meal) with about 10 egg whites and 4 pieces of toast (buttered) So I`m either getting 30 grams of protein or 38 if you count the yogurt. I think as off season add on it`s great, easy to eat and digest and tastes good.

I mix plain probiotic yogurt with oatmeal in a 1:1 ratio (usually about a cup of each) and put it in the fridge overnight. In the morning I mix in some berries, a sliced organic banana, or some raisins and that's an awesome breakfast. I'll have that 3-5 times every week.
I'll also mix plain yogurt with vanilla protein powder and frozen blueberries for an ice-cream type of dessert.

the proactive green label yoghurt is the tastiest yoghurt i've ever tasted. It's mostly sugar though and the 4g of protein is in part due to the whey (read the ingredients). It's good for bulking but i'd avoid it if you're cutting.

Yogurt is very good for you. But like anything you have to watch what you buy. Make sure it's not heat-treated to increase shelf life, which kills the bacteria and its healthful attributes. The words live or active, used to describe bacteria in the list of ingredients, let consumers know the bacteria is living and functional.
Stick with plain yogurt, all those added ingredients to make it taste better take away from the health benifites.
I take about 1 cup yogurt and 1 cup of cottage cheese and eat that at least once a day.

Just so I don`t look like a retard, I did read the ingredients and knew there was whey in it...

Yogurt is great, unfortunately naturally high in sugar. I have seen some new yogurt called "Zero" that claims to have no sugar, aspartame or fat. I'm definitely going to be taking a look into it.

I use the PC pro biotic yogurt for a snack. I stay away from sweetners cause of my stomach if a can. Good source of protien, i always read the labels for the highest protien and lower sugars.
